It took me a while to get around to this review, because I knew I loved this rug, but wasn't sure where to put it. One of the problems was that I DID love it, because I didn't want it to get worn out too awfully fast, as it would if I put it in front of a door. But then I had a bathroom remodel, and now it is the bath mat in front of my new shower. It's perfect--just the right size for a shower-only model, and since it's kind of rubbery, it does NOT move. For those who really desire a fluffy bath mat, it might disappoint you, but the design will NOT DISAPPOINT, so you can put it in many different places. What spot wouldn't be improved by octopus tentacles? I'd kind of like to have one in every room.

I actually think this bath mat looks better than the picture! I have a very small bathroom and I hated having a bulky bath mat that I had to step on all the time. This one is thin enough that it doesn't bother me very much and it's so cute! The bottom of it is rubber so it doesn't slip around and it's fairly easy to just vacuum off.

Bought both the mimic and the tentacles. Both rugs look amazing, kind of feel like a playmat material so not super thick. Both were heavily bent in the package so had hard creases making it not lay flat. Eventually got it to straighten out using a heat gun to melt the back rubber a little. Recommend doing this outside to save your brain cells.

I got it only because I liked the design and the colour, but God it's good! It's thin rubbery mat, but it soaks in all the water in less than a second! I'm impressed I wish they a had a really big one, I'd get it for the entrance door

The look of the rug is spot on. We did our spare bathroom in pirates and this makes the perfect kraken. However, the rug itself is not absorbent or plush/squishy to stand on. It's a pretty thin mat. It is slip resistant which is nice for a bathroom. We ended up using this mat in front of the sink and it works out nicely. Would not recommend it for a "getting out of the tub" mat as the water just kind of sits on it.

I bought this rug, along with the larger size, on a whim because I'm on a mission to make my living space fun and it was perfect for my octopus-themed bathroom. The colors are true to the listing, the non-slip is great. If you need a low-profile rug due to low doors, this will work perfectly. The feel is more like neoprene than a more standard mat, so don't expect that "carpet" sort of feel to it, nor any kind of cushion. There's only light absorbency, so if you like to drip-dry, this might not be the product for you. So far I see no issues with durabiility, and the price was far better than I'd expect for a niche specialty item. Highly recommended.

This bathmat is so cute in person. It’s a nice spongy feel on your feet. It would probably also be perfect in the kitchen to help with anti-fatigue

This mat/mug is absolutely adorable and fun! We found a shower curtain for under $10 to match it (50% off also on Amazon) and it really tied the look together. Amazing buy for under $15! Perfect for our small bathroom and my kids love it! Very pleased!

Too thin and small for a bath mat and colours not as vivid as the picture but a fun, novelty mat.

I use this as a sort of Unwelcome mat to my basement apartment and with the door shut it gives just the look I'm going for. Like some eldritch horror is trying to escape.
