We went on a vacation and I did charge my phone at the different hotels.When we came back, we discovered that we had charges for things that were not ours from places we had never been.I bought these USB Data Blockers but have not gone anywhere to ensure that they work as stated.I will write a better review when we come back from our next trip.

works like a charm
Nice item. I use them to keep my car from attempting Android Auto while using a wireless dongle (my wired connection is pretty fragile, and goes out on bumps, etc). It definitely works--no data flow whatsoever while maintaining the ability to charge.
