Nice system, works well so far.
I have the 8 sensors and logger spread throughout a large 2 story house, working well so far. Setup was easy, it's best if you set up all sensors/transmitters at once as they can only be discovered/learned by the logger for the first 3 hours after inserting their batteries, you have to remove and reinsert their batteries if you want to re-learn them later. Connection to PC via wireless USB dongle works fine. Software is PC only, no Mac (or Smartphone app). I found it fine, can view raw data, plot it or export to CSV file for processing in Excel/other. Only slight negative is that the sensors were quite a bit larger than I expected, they are about 15cm tall. But nice system overall.

Works well but will it last.
Working well with three sender units. Easy to set up, use and download data to computer. Only four stars because this is a unit bought to replace one in which the wireless reception stopped working after two years in use. Phoned Klimalogg in Germany who were very good with technical advice but didn't make any goodwill offer to help with replacement. Hoping this one will last for an acceptable length of time.

Effective Device
This device, together with the TFA remote transmitter, is proving very effective in monitoring conditions in an almost inaccessible area. The ability to store and to graph results on a computer is particularly useful

Good Quality
I keep this in the greenhouse and use it to pull together data from other units. Easy to download the data if you want to build up a database. Good value and lasts a long time.

Very good logging system, while it is working
I'm using this and 8 sensors to monitor greenhouse heating and propagators plus the ambient air and the temperature control in my conservatory. The performance has been great. I'm using a small laptop to graphically monitor each day and downloading data to process on the PC. The logger has no problem picking up signals from a metal greenhouse from about 50m away. However, today I got a '48 and Rx' message on the logger. It will not respond to any attempt to revive it. This is apparently a known problem and I have found other people in Germany complaining about it. Curiously, on a logger which is guaranteed for 2 years, it apparently occurs about 2 years 4 months in. Mine lasted 2 years 1 month. I've had to order another logger, because of the investment in the sensors, but it feels more like I am renting the use of the unit at £30 or so a year.

Great hardware but software and customer support poor
No problems with the Logger (or Transmitter, that I bought separately). Clear and easy to use and understand with comprehensive instructions.Although the software was easy to download to my laptop and transmitted the data well enough to the file, it is extremely difficult to manipulate and view the data in the csv file it sends it to (through Excel workbook). Making a graph was impossible and no instructions available in the user guide on this or how to manipulate that data, so I contacted the TFA help desk via e mail for advice. No reply, so I am still waiting for advice on this. What a disappointment that TFA cannot seem to make the software easy to use or give adequate customer support!
