What I like most about these grab bars is that they’re plastic, so they’re not cold when you reach for them. They also have a nice, comfortable thickness that makes them easy to grab. A lot of people mention installation issues, but the instructions are actually right about one thing: the suction cups must sit fully on a single tile. If even part of a suction cup lands on a grout line, it won’t seal properly. But if you position them so each suction cup is completely inside the tile, they attach firmly. Installed correctly, they stay securely in place and can handle real weight if you need to grab them during a slip.

Purchased this set for my walk in shower walls as I just had a hip replacement. Put one in the wall opposite the door and OT suggested another one near the door so I installed there. Make sure the wall is clean and dry before installing. Only nit I had was the difficulty removing the plastic covers from the heads; takes a little work. That said, they went in great. The first one lower side came a little loose, so I cleaned, dried and installed again with not issues. 2nd OT visit and she suggested I turn one 45 degrees, she could not get it loose so it is still in place. Recommend checking for adhesion every use, however, just in case, they use suction cups.

Very nice grab bars nice and big and hold on the walls in my shower great. Cleaned the tile with alcohol and then stuck on and they hold better than if they were drilled in the walls.

First set worked really well. Bought another set a they sat on a shelf for 6 months and tried installing them and would not hold to the large tiles. Cleaned t8les with soap and alcohol dut could pull them off. The original order still working

Excellent product! I was concerned the safety bar might wiggle, but it feels very sturdy. I have a burst fractured back and feeling secure is crucial. Even though I weigh much less than the expected weight, I felt secure which is extremely important to me. I highly recommend this safety device.

We've used these temporary grab bars with suction cups for a few months now, and I'm very pleased with them. Our shower walls are absolutely smooth with no seams. These suction cups attach very securely to that kind of wall. Still, I don't want to rely on them to carry even my wife's weight (90 lbs), though I think she could probably hang on them if she needed to. But that's not why I put them up. I'm telling me wife, who has fallen twice this last year and whose balance is not good, that she can use them to maintain her balance as she walks into and out of the shower. They're good for that, and they can be repositioned while you're trying to figure out where you want to put permanent grab bars. When we know where we want to put permanent grab bars, we'll replace these temporary grab bars with grab bars that can be screwed into a stud or into plywood backing. I've already repositioned one of these, and I can tell you that the instruction for removing these suction cups did not work for me. The instructions suggest that you use a credit card to remove the suction cup. It seemed to me that that was going to damage the rubber. I ended up working a wet finger up under the suction cup in order to pry it loose from our sheer walls. This took a little effort, and it did hurt a bit, but I got the suction cup off without damaging the product. Here's an update on how much weight these grab bars can hold: none at all. I moved one of these bars to our tub. My wife weight about 90 lbs. When she took hold of this grab bar in order to raise herself out of the tub, the grab bar came off in her hand. I caught her. We tried it again the next day. It came off in her hand a second time when she tried to pull herself up. These grab bars should not be used for anything other than keeping your balance, and be aware that they can detach themselves at any time.

Precise installation instructions, strong hold and not bad to look at. Comes in a pair, installed both and feel safe. Would definitely recommend.

These grab bars are excellent. They have extra strong gripping power. Once you install they give a very firm handle to hold onto. I will use them when traveling too. A good solid product. Excellent price too.
