Dude Ranch [VINYL]

You know this already. You have it on vinyl so get it on CD too and rediscover the joy. It's really very good and it's my joint favourite Blink 182 album. There are songs on this album that make me seriously consider learning to play guitar or bass. Not because the boys do it poorly but because I just want to be able to create something as wonderful as this. It's so good especially the mid section quartet of Waggy, Enthused, Untitled and Apple Shampoo. Pure bliss for unrequited lovers, losers and dorks, gazing at the angel on the pedestal, ignorant of the other girls, just living in that "Just..... Maybe world" where you picture you and her together and its perfect. Enjoy that time before it's shattered by the inevitable harsh rejection or do as I generally do. Avoid rejection by gliding effortlessly, consciouslessly into that beautiful comfortable friend zone. WHAT? I'M WHERE? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO how did THIS happen? Once there, escape is impossible. You can carry her stuff while she tells you how mean her boyfriend is to her. Or you can..... Make the move before you fall into the friend zone. Rejection vs Friend Zone Sure. Rejection hurts a lot. It's humiliating. But it sends out a message that you are ready to date. Other girls will take note and if you handle it well, they will see this and think "He is OK, that guy". The pain of rejection lasts for a limited time. And the really scary part is that occasionally they say "OK. Let's go out" and then you have a whole new set of joyous problems. The Friend Zone on the other hand, lasts forever. Nobody respects you. If you are shark enough, you may get the opportunity to pounce but she will be back with the boyfriend by the end of the next day and you will be left hurt and rejected. Purely anecdotal of course. Nothing like that ever happened to me ever.

Not a big fan of their albums before this but this album was where it really started for them, they only improved from here, but this albums still stands great for itself.

It was really great condition for a second hand album so I was really impressed, it came really quickly. It's also a really great album so it's well worth buying with some of my favourite blink songs on it like Apple Shampoo and Dammit

Always been a huge blink fan and was very pleased to add dude ranch to my vinyl collection. . These earlier recording sound amazing on vinyl very pleased with this

...No.. Really... It is! There are only minor scratches on the CD case, but this doesn't bother me THAT much. The CD is NEW and without scratches. Came nicely packaged and within the delivery date.

Fantastic album, Blink 182's best, it's raw, it's punk and a great listen, love everyone of the tracks but my standouts are Dammit, Dick Lips, Josie and I'm Sorry.

Fantastic Punk album by the brilliant Blink-182, a mixture of fast intense punk drives and some slower more melodic ones. A lot of jokey lyrics and fun tunes and some odd sounds at the end of certain songs. 5 Stars

Das beste Pop-Punk Album aller Zeiten bzw. der Inbegriff eines Genres, das nach Dude Ranch nicht mehr viel zu sagen hat. Eine 45-minutige Reise durch schläfrige Sommernachmittage der 90er Jahre. Der einhüllende und grobe Gitarren-Sound des Vinyl gib dem Zuhörer das Gefühl, während der Entstehung der Lieder im Proberaum neben dem kalifornischen Trio zu sitzen. Fantastisch gelungener Vinylmaster!

Un cadeau qui a beaucoup plus

Dude Ranch è il primo prodotto vagamente commerciale dei blink-182. Si tratta dell'ultimo album nell'era pre-Travis Barker, con alla batteria Scott Raynor. L'album è molto meno "grezzo" del predecessore Cheshire Cat, mantenendo però molto di quella vena tutt'altro che perfezionista con cui i blink si lasciano riconoscere, soprattutto nei live. Da qui provengono alcune dei successi più amati dai fan, Dammit e Josie. Personalmente non è tra i miei album preferiti della band, ma è un elemento fondamentale in una collezione e nella comprensione di quale sia la vera essenza dei blink-182, prima del vero successo.
