Disappointing for the price and lacks power.
bought this for my 4yr old who loves dumper trucks. Its a good replica which he loved when he opened the gift. However there are a few disappointments. Firstly the battery life is appalling and constantly needs charging. The other big drawback is the battery needs to be removed before it can be charged. This involves removing a screw, removing the cover and unplugging the battery. It should clearly have an external charging plug. Also the truck is not that powerful and struggles in the garden even in short grass. Also struggles on any sort of incline. The dumper part cannot take any sort of load before it wont tip....isn't this what every boy wants it for. The few plastic boulders supplied are nowhere near enough, he wants it full so it makes a bug clatter when it dumps. Overall for the money its quite disappointing and would have expected more. A similar size excavator which we got to accompany the truck was bought from Toys r Us & was only £30.

The truck looks really cool. I followed the setup instructions but it would not "match" to the remote controller, so I sent it back to Amazon and asked for a replacement. Well, the second one didn't match either. When this can't be done the truck will not move so I sent the second one back and gave up.Matching is the procedure that ensures the truck receives its signals from a specific remote controller so that if you had two trucks on the same frequency they will not interfere with each other. Hobby Engine's lower cost models do not require matching (I know this because I also bought the lower cost wheel loader) but you probably can't use two of them at the same time if they are on the same frequency.

nur für Asphalt geeignet
Der Muldenkipper ist viel zu schwach für die Sandkiste. Leichte Steigungen in der sSandkiste sind nicht möglich da er einfach zu wenig Kraft hat. Auf Asphalt kann man ihn ganz gut fahren was aber wenig Sinn ergibt. Für alles andere NICHT geeignet.

Bought two trucks. Read the reviews before with feedback of remotes not connecting. One truck worked great but the other wouldn't connect to the controller. Major disappointment! !Ended up sending one back to Amazon costing me more money.Buy at your own risk.The type of batteries are and older type which are hard to replace.

nice looking but they both dont work like they say
cant match the controller to the truck, tried for 8 hours and gave up, saw other review with same problem, should of know, bought 2 hobby engine products and returned both, nice looking but they both dont work like they say, very upset cause it was a birthday present, garbage
