VXL-3s ESC Cooling Fan and Motor Dual Fan Set Compatible with Traxxas Slash 4x4 Stampede 4x4 Rustler 4x4 Hoss 4×4 Velineon VXL 3s Heat Sink, Blue

Needed a fan step up for my rally traxxas vxl.Since I put on the speed gear on it, don’t wanna overheat the motor. Works great, was easy to install. Drove it on dirt, snow and gravel and other terrain. The fans never had an issue. I suggest to remove them when doing a deep cleaning just in case.

Great product nothing bad to say about this item keeps everything u need to cool cooled and like the sound it reminds me of a computer tower that's cooling down

Fits the Traxxas Velineon VXL-3 in the newer Traxxas VXL models. I bought this for my Rustler 4x4 VXL. Simple install and does an adequate job keeping things cool. I did use some PC grade thermal paste on the motors heatsink for install and I'm sure that's making a bit of a difference.At first, one of the two fans on the motor cooler did NOT want to turn. I used some dielectric lubricant and some cleaner and it started spinning. Most people won't have these types of things on hand, so if you run into that issue, you may want to talk with the seller. After they all worked, they've taken a LOT of abuse. From water, to rocks/pebbles, to sand. And I just hose everything off and go back at it on the next run. They haven't failed after 20 or so runs in some really bad mud, water, sand, road gravel, and more. I run without those screen protectors, so they are basically open to all of the crap the front tires throw under the body. They haven't failed yet, so I'm impressed.

Solid fan kit for my 4-Tec, although it was a tight fit. Keeps my motor and ESC cool though and the fans are super quiet. Would recommend.

Work like a champ! Cured my Rustler VXL 4x4 overheating. Appear to be well designed and manufactured. No directions in the package but several good instruction videos on YouTube. Recommend.

Motor heatsink doesn't fit well on slash with motor wires and driveshaft. Had to modify and shave. Fan occasionally sticks.

This item did not come with instructions... So after going on YouTube I figured out how to install it. First off you'll need to remove the motor and reposition it where the cables are down facing towards you as I have in the pictures. There are two screws mounting the plate to the motor, that's where you rotate it but make sure to leave screw hold on side uncovered. Then wire the dual fans using the supplied y-adapter. You'll run that to any available channel on your receiver. You'll need to remove the 4 screws to get to the receiver. In case you don't know that's where the other black red and white wires are going into. I plugged mine in below the LED channel 5. Then I reassembled everything and plugged in battery and powered on. The fans worked instantly.

Don’t buy this piece of garbage. Took it out after installing and after one jump, it came off my motor and broke as you can see I can couldn’t tell it was off, so the wires got tangled up in my wheels……….. I wanted to come back on and not delete my review but updated all these things did happen and I didn’t ask for a refund or ask for an apology however I got an amazing email from the seller issuing, a full refund and a sincere apology. I am extremely impressed and will look for other products with them. No arguments about what I did upon Install what I did wrong nothing just a refund. What an excellent business.
