Good product, but made in China
For survival food, I found the chocolate, strawberry, and mocha flavors to be surprisingly palatable.I Love:-the 1 day bar has smaller wrapped parcels within it, so you can divide it up into smaller portions for you or family, or spread it out to supplement other meals without having a crumbly mess.-it is well fortified with vitamins and a better balance of carbs, protein, and fats, which is better than the lifeboat-type rations I'll be replacing (lifeboat rations are designed for a limited fresh water supply, so almost no protein in those).Don't love- that it's made in China, which they call the "PRC" on package, I think to try to fool people. I don't trust things made in China as much, due to the multiple instances of injuries and fatalities that have occurred due to toxins in pet food, human baby food, etc, all under the watchful eye of the "PRC" government. Hopefully there are no issues with the survival food manufactured there! With that caveat, so far it seems like a great product and I will be buying more.

Affordable and Calorie dense.
A great addition to an emergency bag for hiking or for a bug out bag, with just over 1100 calories for something vacuum sealed, waterproof, and that fits in the palm of my hand, they can fit pretty much into any space space. These bars also have an impressively long shelf life (25 years) and might outlast me.

Good Tasting and Long Lasting
I use bars like this for a variety of reasons. From hiking snacks to bug out bag requirements, these make the list. I've tried several different bars and been less than impressed. However, after finding these, both my wife and I agreed these taste very good. They are dry, but that's expected for what you're purchasing (25 year shelf life emergency bar). Just ensure you have something to drink with them.I've stocked up on many of these already, and will continue to do so.

Long shelf life, heavy and low calories per day
I haven't tried eating this, so the review is not for the taste, but as advertised it has an expiration date 20 years out. That was my main concern. It is much heavier than I was expecting - the listing says 65 grams, which I figured was per bar, but in reality each bar is 250g. That comes out to just under four pounds total for the seven day box. To be fair, that information can be seen in the photo, I just took the listing at face value and didn't check. The other issue is that it is quite a few less calories than you might guess; it's seven days of rations at around 1200 calories per day, which would be OK for a true emergency and a very short amount of time but would be near starvation level for most people. It will keep you alive if it's just a week, but you probably will be very hungry.

If it’s the end of the world will get you through.
It’s like biting into sawdust. Doesn’t have a terrible taste. I guess it’ll help you get through World War III if you needed something to eat.
