Amazon EssentialsWomen's Slim Bootcut Jeans, Mid-Rise, Stretchy

I really like the jeans, but they run small in my opinion, like 2 or 3 sizes smaller. I ordered my regular size, and the next size up, but am going to return them both and order the next size up from that and see how that goes (I like them enough to go through all of this effort to get a pair that fits, which says a lot). I think it may have to do with the Jeans being 'Slim' fit. When I buy the Amazon Essentials Slim Fit shirts, I have to order a size or 2 up from what I normally wear as well, but they look way better on me than the regular fit (both the jeans and the shirts). I assume it's because I have an hour glass figure. I have really been liking the Amazon Essentials clothing in general and these don't disappoint. They have good stretch and are a flattering style, and they are not too wide for a bootcut jean. The one thing that I don't like with these is that my panty line shows, but I don't think I will have that problem with the next size up.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw AMAZON JEANS! I mean, it was inevitable I guess. I'm sure we'll be seeing more and more clothing options from Amazon and I'm pretty excited about that!First off - these are really nice looking. The fading and detail is very realistic and takes on a really nice vintage look. I tried to take pics really close up to see. I'm really happy with the look.These are boot jeans, but skinny jeans for sure, with a relaxed ankle, so I'll call them skinny boot jeans.I am typically an 8, in just about every jeans that exist - but these to me felt really tight, and they actually didn't stretch out too much except for some slouch in the groin area. I always feel like the crotch droops in these types of jeans. and I constantly need to pull them up.They are really nice looking but a bit on the "Mom jeans" style side. I don't really love how my butt looks in them so I tend to wear longer tops. I would size up, but I feel like a 10 would be way too big. Maybe if I lose my Christmas weight they'll feel better. They actually HURT they were so tight.An OK pair of jeans. Hopefully they improve the design and cut over time. But all in all, a great pair for the price.

I found these jeans about 2 years ago, May 2022, and I cant believe the quality and fit for the price.These jeans have enough stretch to give a little in the waist, but hug the bum and thighs just right. I started my Amazon Essentials jeans journey at a size 10 short, I’m 5’3” and always wear a stack or wedge heals and these were the perfect length. Then I had to bump up to a 12 short, which fit great and then I went on a weight loss journey and sized back to my 10, then 8, 6 and I’m about to order a 4 short!! Always the perfect length with heals or tennis shoes and the fit is amazing. The mid-rise is perfect for someone with a thicker waist. Also, I’ve owned 4 pairs now and I’ve never had an issue with the color bleeding. I gave my 8 short to my 81 year old mom and she loves them also! We twin now in our jeans!👖

The longs are super long. Love it. I tried two colors.Stormy Night or whatever the medium color is called was weirdly tight in the waist, and not at all stretchy. A 29" waist just under the belly button would probably be comfortable in them. There wasn't enough give to make me comfortable.The 'rinse' were a nightmare. I thought I loved them because they are long and look so dark and classy, so I wore them around after a casual cold hand wash (the water turned green, just a little strange). My purse, my favorite most versatile cloth purse, rubbed against the jeans and is now stained blue on the backside. So I dunked the pants into a hot, soapy hand wash. The hot water brought out a terrible chemical smell. All three washes stained the water navy with no sign of abating. I have never seen an item of clothing bleed and smell that badly, and I cleaned and kept a dress that smelled of cigar smoke, so I'm not one to quit easily, especially over gloriously long jeans that fit comfortably (though they didn't have that already broken in, ideal flattering fit). These pants are not okay. I don't know what their deal is, but they should not be touching a human body.UPDATE:I allllmost returned these, then I tried two other brands that had a chemical smell, too. I can't afford super nice jeans, and I'm sick of the hunt. I'm keeping these. Maybe new jeans are just chemically now. :( I think I'll hang these outside for a while, then add a dash of lemon to another hand wash.ANOTHER UPDATE:Okay, I just gave in and ordered another pair of these, this time in New Dark Wash. Absolutely no chemical smell from these in a hot soapy hand wash, and no weird green color in the water. And they are such a flattering slim boot fit. So long and lovely. Love these.ANOTHER UPDATE:Didn't quite make it through two seasons. These aren't super hardy.

The color is great but the fit is even better! I’m going to order more! The material quality is just right. The pants look and feel awesome! They give when you bend over and stand back up. They are flattering too. I washed and dry them and they didn’t shrink or color-run at all! I’m 5’6” and I got a 10. I’m not big, just got a little tummy pooch. It does wonders to hide it!

So I've bought from this brand a lot and generally have always liked them. When I buy them in skinny jeans they're usually too short.So when I decided to buy them in boot cut style, I opted for long.. Well I got them and they were waaaay too long. So I ordered them again in the regular size, (not long) and they are the same exact length. How is this possible? I'm so upset. I leave for vacation tomorrow and now I barely have any pants to pack because they don't fit right.

These are a perfect dark denim in a simple bootcut style. They are mid rise and there is room in waist meaning they don’t cinch in…..yay! Add on a nice stretch for comfort….the price….wow….super deal!

I did not have the issue with the dye as some others did. I washed them before I wore them and no problem. Higher in the rise than I’m used to, but they are comfortable. I’m happy.
