great lighters
I'm a cigar smoker and have a few of this type of 'torch' lighter. I can never find any of them as they are pinched by my wife to light candles and then disappear into an abyss somewhere. So fed up of losing posh lighters, thought id give these cheap puppies a go.the 'torch' flame is pretty small to be honest but it stays lit in windy conditions (walking dogs on beach etc), feels sturdy, came full of gas. They are much, much better than disposable bics...particularly for cigars....so happy to give them 5 stars. At just over £2.50 per lighter, they are an absolute bargain.

Decent lighters
They do what they say on the tin, but the "striker" does not last too long. For the cost; they are just fine.

A great lighter for a decent price
I bought one of these whilst in Wales on holiday from a Saturday market in a small town. It was quite chunky and only £2 so I wasn't expecting much. I like wind proof lighters and I thought I would get it to test it out. Months later, it was still working fine and was surprisingly good on lighter fluid. Probably as the take is quite large. I literally filled it up once a month in normal usage. After about five months the igniter part of it was becoming a little weak so I though I would buy some more although it's nearly Christmas now and the first one is still functional. These lighters though have a transparent window in them so you can see how much fluid you have left which is handy. For the money, you really can't go wrong with these but don't expect them to last forever as they're only a few quid and offer an experience better than with some much more expensive lighters that i've tried.

Excellent in the wind
This was used to light cigarette without being blown out by the wind which is great

They work.
After a short period of intermediate usage, the one of these two that i've been using has now started to lose flame size and only ignites when on the max flame size setting. (1-2 days light use/a few cigarettes). I highly suspect this is a detail related to filling. I will attempt to top it up and see if the issue is related to what i think it is, or if it's related to fuel quantity.

I have seen the light....er.
Very pleased with purchase. Not a lighter...THE lighter. Just perfect. The flame stays well clear of lid and nose if using a bong. Using it is so quick that the gas supply lasts well.UPDATE On my third set since I started buying them a couple of years back. This sounds bad but just think how many of those so called reusable lighters you get from the supermarket for slightly less than the price of one of these. The come apart easily and if you have a couple that have failed you can make a two tone mash up. Bong use...you'll melt the lid a bit eventually. If even after filling you struggle to keep it lit lit, then it's probably the jets blocked up a bit. It's easy to lift the plastic cog of the adjuster and reposition it for increased flow, thus extending lighters life as long as the spark emitter holds out. I still give these five stars, nothing lasts forever but these last considerably longer than most of the so-called reusable lighters out there. One of the lighters I gave to a friend so didn't go through six in two years and no.5 still works. Six and seven are just a bit of forward planning.

Small but efficent
Decent lighter, small enough to fit in any pocket and produces a small but quite powerful flame. Can't keep it burning for long though as it burns your finger so don't try to light a barbie with it.
