Not sure what you mean by bug light but it comes with a clear and amber lens. Mine is mounted on the front of my little 26 ft travel trailer and is mainly used when I arrive at a park and have to unhook in the dark. I mounted it with the clear lens and sealed it good with clear silicone sealant. It is quite bright. Love it…

Q: How waterproof is the switch on this light? (switches seem to be weak link on most)

The back of the switch is completely sealed against water, however the back cavity, the area between the light assembly and the trailer isn’t due to a lack of a gasket. Be sure water can’t enter your trailer around the wires. I can’t tell if the outside of the switch, around the rocker, is weather tight or not. Since the switch is located on the bottom, gravity is on your side.

Q: Does it come with a bulb?

That is kind of a trick Question. It is an LED light panel fixture, so, no it does not come with a “bulb”, but it does come with a flat LED light panel permanently installed (with 18 LED’s I think?).

Q: Does this come with black housing instead of white?

The black housing version will be online in 3 months.
