I used this to model out a board in my RV's bed where a hydraulic door closer was just barely touching it. The closer no longer puts stress on the screws that attach it to a different board. I now keep the file in my tool box because I'm sure I'll need it again. There's a lot of wood in an RV!

Working great for modifying a 3D-printed model. Presume it would work well for wood too. Nice handle. Pesky plastic wrapping on the blade for shipping.

I use files on my wood lathe, not the easiest use but it makes a consistent flat surface. these files are good for that purpose as long as you clean them with a card file, I clean them every time before placing them in storage and have had no problems with them. longevity seems about mid-range compared to others.

For the price you cant beat it works as good as my mac and snap on

I needed a file to widen the bolt holes on a bench vise. The finish wasn't great and coating was a little thick so M8 bolts wouldn't fit. This file made quick work of the vise. I was surprised just how easy it was to remove metal from the bolt holes.

Works as expected

Worked well to elongate a hole. I was a little concerned it would break because of the pressure I applied on both ends while cutting back and forth but it was strong enough.

the seem to work well. I'd like to know how wide the file is for doing inside curves.. The round file was hermetically sealled in plastic and took 20 minutes to remove. Real pain in the neck
