Love this
This is one of those purchases I know will make my life easier. I bought this with our local drive-in in mind, thinking it would be great to keep out mosquitoes and light rain while my family was watching an outdoor movie. I used it today, just after it was delivered.I set it up all by myself with my one and four year old with me, so I have to say it was easy to set up. I didn’t set up the canopy with the poles, just rolled that part up and also secured the straps to my back seat door handles instead of behind the wheels. It fit great on my Ford Escape and felt durable. An unexpected thunder and hailstorm rolled in and was crazy, strong wind and pouring buckets of rain. We stayed dry and it never blew off the car. We did leave soon after that. I can’t wait to use this again!

Works great
This is a nice, light weight tent. It was very easy to set up bymyself. It did not come with poles, for the canopy. I had a table, with things stacked up, that I pushed out, to help creat more headspace under the canopy. It was very nice to have the cover for the hatch. I was able to sleep in the back of my car, and get good air flow through the open tailgate, but no bugs.

Well-made
I wasn’t sure how I’d like this car tent cover for camping, but it turned out to be a real good buy. It was easy to put on an easy to secure. I have a Subaru Crosstrek and it fit perfectly. It is typical tent material, but the seams are straight, and the zippers work really well. I probably wouldn’t put it up in Bear country, but using it in areas where I know it is safe, and I am safe, makes a lot of sense. The extra foot room is worth the purchase.

Quick and easy setup
Fits very well on a dodge caravan, in order to have a more finished appearance Definitely use the guy lines included in the kit.The canopy is a little larger than I expected and seems very durable. My pictures are of my first set up. Which took exactly 5 minutes from opening the bag to taking pictures. This was a test run and I was Just making sure it fits. It is a bit too cold to use currently being about 30° overnight where I’m camping, but I’m looking forward to having the additional space and increased airflow when the warmer weather arrives.

Damaged
Easy to set up and would be great but the material already had holes in it.

Great addition to van camping
Bought for 2004 Mazda MPV minivan. Fits well, could be a little longer, it doesn't fit completely under the rear bumper, but comes across about 6" short of the bottom, still fits snug to keep our bugs.Really like the center zipper in the screen, makes for easy access to the back of the van. Would like to have a way to roll the screens off to the side and tie up, but using spring clamps works. The fabric seems to be sturdy, I like that it's silver inside, so it doesn't allow light through. Keeps the back hatch area a little cooler.I'm a short person, and can set this up in 5 minutes alone. First, align the main seam side to side with the bottom edge of the rear liftgate. Only open the liftgate about halfway while you do this. Allow the liftgate to rise slowly while you throw the upper portion of the tent into place over the liftgate and rear of the van's roof. Buckle straps in place on wheel wells, then under bumper and use the tires to secure the top. I tied the top of mine to the roof rack. I haven't used it with tent poles to hold up the canopy section yet, but it should all work well.I can't speak to the durability, or how it holds up in rain. Worked great for a sunny day, allowed a nice breeze into the van and kept the mosquitoes at bay. The zippers only have the pulls on the outside, but I just jused my fingers to snug the zipper pull closed.

I don't know what environment this would work in
The tent wouldn't stay on with the slightest wind. The fabric was probably nice and would withstand rainThe suction cups were gargageThe pole ends came off easy. The thing wanted to fly away at the slightest breeze.Oh god why am I being nice. This was overpriced garbage. What a rip off.
