New CPU + GPU Cooling Fan Replacement for MSI GS75 P75 WS75 MS-17G1 MS-17G2 MS-17G3 P/N: BS5005HS-U3I BS5005HS-U3J MS-17G1 MS-17G2 MS-17G3

Original fans were making too much noise after a few years of dust buildup... probably spinning less efficiently, which was causing the laptop to run a bit hot. These fixed that problem for a while. Installation was a little challenging getting the cabling routed back the right way, but that's more on MSI's design than these fans. They ran fine from November 7, 2025, until the first week of July, 2026...so roughly 8 months. Now they're making a noise I can't really put a clean label on... kind of a thumping sound but higher frequency, not quite grinding, just off. Happens whenever the fans kick on. Fortunately they only run about 20% of the time, but still. Given they only lasted fault-free for about 8 months, I can't give this more than 2 stars.

As another reviewer mentioned. The screws in my 2019 GS75 w/ RTX2080 are smaller so they don’t grab when trying to mount these fans. However, I left those screws out and assembled the laptop without them and it worked just fine. When the back cover is screwed back on, several of the screws go through tabs on the fans so they’re still nice and tight. I noticed the housings of these fans have a 585 & 586 stamped in them. Mine had 561 & 562. I think anyone with the same stamps as mine will have this screw problem. These fans also have more blades that are a little closer together than OEM. Idk how this affects flow but they seem to work equally or slightly better than the oem did. After install, I had a 5 hour gaming session and the laptop did great. If the seller would include the proper fitting replacement screws I’d easily give this 5 stars. It now gets 4 because I charge one star for my own ingenuity.

I installed these on my MSI GS75 Stealth 9SF. With the old fans, I would consistently get around 6,500 rpms on all fans when in 'Cooler Boost' mode. In the same mode the new fans are significantly slower. For example Fan 1 tops out at 4,800 rpms. I also had to use a blend of old screws and new screws to install these fans.

I installed this into a my laptop started making noise within the first 3 weeks. Absolutely horrible quality. This unit failed within 2 months of use. Definitely the worst product I have ever purchased from Amazon.

The quality of the fans looked good. The metal and plastic felt good. Fit dimensions were correct. But when I went to install the original screws didn’t fit the new fans. The hole for the screws were too big and the screws would just fall out. On something this small I don’t risk replacing the screws with something that isn’t OE fit. Will return and order from another vendor

As you can see from the picture these are not A power and they are made in China instead of Taiwan. They make a horrible noise.

Been few months since I installed them but they still work great! No complaints so far
