I only saw my mandolin was dish washser safe. My recent dish wash rendered the attacmentnts out of shape. The attachments will not fit with other parts of the attachments. I thought I'd finally found an appliance that worked. I can't tell you how dissapointed nI am.

I am pleased with this Mandoline Slicer Safe Vegetable Chopper. It is not metal as I naively thought, it is plastic except for the blades. I can say it works. I like to treat myself with home made potatoe chips. I slice potatoes thinly and fry them in sunflower oil. After a few tests with the blades to get the correct thickness I sliced three small potatoes and boom I had a batch of potatoe chips. I will say it is not an easy appliance to use. A bit wonky. However it sure beats cutting my fingers off with my old mandoline. You can rinse it off, however it is a tad awkward to fiddle with at the sink. Overall I like it. UPDATE: It is cheap plastic junk. I was slicing french fries when the darn thing just fell apart. Tried to fix it but no such luck. I have to call customer service because the return date has passed. Seriously it broke right at the cut off date. Junk. Junk. Junk.

1. Instructions are prime chinglish and a waste of paper and the user's time. (No hints for assembly) 2. Cuts all round things such as carrots, cucumbers and etc. into nice ovals. 3 Input hopper is small and user has to cut up normally large produce (tomatoes?) so why use this machine? 4. Hard things such as potato slices is difficult. Easier with a kitchen knife. 5. No provision for storing the blades and other loose pieces. I guess that they will rattle around in a drawer or cabinet shelf. This (in my opinion) is a really good idea but the execution needs more evaluation. We're returning ours as our little people won't eat carrots (nor anything else) cut into ovals.

Reçu ma commande rapidement - Un vrai petit bijou - je ne m'attendais pas à cela - moi qui ai des problèmes d'arthrose l'utilisation est vraiment pratique - Très bien pensé ainsi que pour l'entretien - Aussi pas de risque de coupure si on suis le mode d'utilisation - Seul petit bémol, pour les carottes, pour ceux qui ont l'habitude de manger des carottes très fines, cet appareil râpe en julienne et donc, la grille râpe un peu plus épais - En ce qui me concerne cela ne me gêne pas - Vraiment chouette ce petit appareil - Je ne regrette pas mon achat
