As others stated, it is not as drop free as original magazine your gun initially came with.Although it doesn't drop freely, it is well built and feels really stiff. Great addition for your CP99.

I bought this pellet gun for my girlfriend to practice how to shoot before she moves to a new gun so she wasn’t nervous. It operates and functions just like a real firearm and has a working slide that reach chambers a bb each time.. Excellent purchase I would definitely purchase one again and man does it fire off some rounds really fast and very powerful it goes right through the cardboard from 25 feet distance
