I purchased these, not as serving trays, but as trays to contain and organize. One tray is the exact size to fit the top of a little cart that holds school supplies. It fits within 1/8" of all edges. The pencil cups and other things on the top kept falling off the edge, so I purchased the set specifically for that tray. It fits perfectly, gives the top of the cart a little lip to contain everything, and nothing falls off any more. It's perfect. It wasn't cheap but in my opinion it was worth the price for the perfect fit. The other tray, I have put in my kid's room on their craft desk. It is now used to contain projects that are in progress, and can easily and safely be moved without damaging the project or spilling beads, etc. This being said, I would absolutely not use these as food trays. I don't believe they are strong enough to carry a heavy load. The corners on both trays are VERY sharp. I took 400 grit sandpaper to all of the corners on both trays before putting them to use. This solved the problem. I didn't sand the edges of everything, I just sanded the sharp points off. This could even be done with a nail file if you don't have sandpaper. I do believe that the corners are sharp enough to cut someone, not sharp to the touch, but for example if you hit it or scraped past, it would definitely be sharp enough to cut. So it was worth the arts and crafts project, in my opinion.

I actually picked this up to use as a prop for photo shoots, and it worked perfectly. The clear acrylic gives a clean, modern look that doesn’t distract from the subject, and the size is ideal for creating styled scenes. Bonus: it’s sturdy and easy to clean, so I’ll definitely keep using it for both shoots and everyday serving.

I got these to put under my coffee maker. I have new counters that I don't want stained, but I also didn't want to cover up the pretty counters, or put down something that could potentially discolor the counters. My coffee maker fits perfectly - I have to angle the carafe out only slightly (maybe 1/8 of an inch) to get it over the lip, but it keeps drips off my counters and is transparent so I still see my counters, and is washable with a soft sponge (I'm sure a green scrubby would scratch this). I can also fit my container of coffee beans and the filters in here as well. For size reference I have a Moccamaster 10 cup coffee maker with a thermal carafe.
