It is a wonderful product. I have used products of many brands before. After a few uses, they all went to waste. It is very easy to use and very understandable.

Very clear dial. Seems to work well with repeated readings confirming earlier ones. My bueberries will thank me for this!

Two or three years ago, governmental advice was that 'Peat' would be banned from composts in 2024, but it appears that this has been extended to 2025.Since then, the Compost Producers have come up with dozens of recipes substituting various recycled products in lieu of Peat. IMHO, and not to put too fine a point on it, I think the majority are a poor substitute.To counteract this I have started making my own Potting (Peat Free)Composts and found it to be a big learning curve, not the least getting hold of economical accurate 'Testing Kits'After reading countless reviews, I am finding that many of the reviewers credit the meter as working OK and give 5***** when in fact it is not! Admittedly a few say they do not know if the readings they get are accurate 4****, and others say the product is rubbish 1*My own findings are that, generally, the kits on offer are not up to the job, some work, others don't and the multitasking meters in many cases only partially work, if at all!I am finding this to be the case with the Sonkir 4-in-1 Soil Moisture Meter. I purchased this model for one reason and that was to get the benefit of the 'Nutrient' test facility it contains, and with a bit of luck possibly an accurate pH meter.To explain; I now have three soil testers (not to forget the two or three I sent back for a refund) and not one of them has come up to their advertised specification.For instance, with the 3in 1 meter I purchased in 2020 I have found from various tests** I have made I consistently get a reading that is 1 pH too high, meaning if I am aiming for a pH of 6.5 I have to display a reading of 7.5.I have managed to make do with this product by simply making a mental adjustment each time I do a test! ** These tests consisted of using 'Testing strips'(BTW, This is another minefield when it comes to purchasing suitable Testing Strips.)In the end, I contacted a Soil Testing Lab, and they pointed me in the right direction as to what to buy.With the Sonkir 4-in 1 meter I have found that the 'pH facility' is very sluggish, and I find that I have to leave the probe in the compost for at least 10 minutes and even then I found that it was displaying a reading that is approximately 0.5 pH units lower than I would expect.The Nutrient tester works in so far as providing I am in the range of 2-8, and I am OK with that, knowing that by supplementary feeding it is quite easy to adjust the compost/soil with liquid fertilisers.The reason I purchased this 4 in 1 meter in particular, was to get the benefit of the 'Nutrient' test facility it contains, and with a bit of luck possibly an accurate pH meter, sadly this was not to be. (For reasons shown above)In the case of the moisture metering like the Nutrient facility, all I want to know if my compost is wet or dry. When I know this, the remedy is quite simple i.e.if it reads dry I get the watering can out.In conclusion, my first impulse was to return the Sonkir meter, but then I realised that between my three meters I have ended up with a 4-in-1 facility, albeit I have three meters to do it with.I hope you find this useful!

I have bought 3 different ph tester and this is by far the best easy too use recommend to anyone

Really disappointed in this product. Used to test soil moisture and on the third time of putting it into the soil the end came off. The ground isn’t even that hard at the moment. Can’t find a route to complain or ask for a refund.

Very straightforward to use and easy to read.

Very useful tool for all gardeners. Using this neter, I was able to diagnose why my plants were not thriving, it was a lack of nutrients. I applied fertilizer and 1 week later, my plants are doing great. Very useful item. I like that I can tilt the top to make it easier to read.

This is a very nice device. Completely rust resistant? Accurate readings, perfect size, very durable and a great value for the money.

Work well for humidity so that was my primary goal

I really like this item. I’ve tested it using the PH MODE so far several times on a special new plant which requires acid soil. So far. the “ reading “ is the same, even though I gave the plant an acid fertilizer recently. Today I added more acid.If it continues to “ read “ the same, I will return it.Time will tell. I’m quite an experienced gardener, so don’t need to mess around withsilly tools.
