ZYM Hydration Powder, Sport Drink Mix, Electrolytes Powder for Exercise, Endurance, and Performance, 20 Servings, Strawberry Lemonade

I have a house full of runners constantly going through Gatorade mix, plus we just had Covid sweep through the house. So we’ve been testing this mix with mixed results as. I love that it doesn’t have artificial ingredients and coloring - it’s not bright pink or green. Some of my crew likes the taste better than others. But whew it is pricey. Other than that I recommend it as a Gatorade substitute.

Very light, refreshing drink when mixed in 12 to 16 oz. of cold water. This drink mix dissolves very well in cold water, better than a lot of others I have tried. I would rather have individual, per serving packaging, but, on the other hand this creates less waste. It does come with a serving scop. It has a slight tint from natural colors from tumeric and fruit juice, I really appreciate that there are no artificial dyes in this product. I don't like a lot of electrolyte drinks because they are overly salty and viscous, this drink is not, it actually taste good. Plus, it is cheaper than buying those individual bottles of electrolyte drinks. The bad thing is, that good taste comes from 19 grams of added cane sugar and dextrose. I don't like added sugars in my food. That also adds 19 grams of the 21 grams of carbs in here. Only 80 calories per scoop and 100% vitamin C is great. I don't really taste strawberry, just sweet and citric acid. That's ok, as it states on the bag, it is easy to drink. This is a product I will use because it is tasty, easy to mix and not off putting like a lot of electrolyte drinks and mixes out there. I also like that this is a US product.

I was really excited by how incredibly delicious this stuff smelled when it arrived, and was looking forward to trying it. Until I saw the sugar content, which seems unnecessarily high. Still figured it wasn't likely any worse than the other hydration drink mixes, I figured I'd still give it a shot, since it smelled so good. That's when my disappointment really peaked. Despite making it on the stronger end of the recommended mix/water ratio, it still wasn't nearly as strong a flavor as the aroma led me to expect, and it seemed to have an odd aftertaste. My daughter on the other hand really liked it, so at least it won't go to waste, but the flavor just wasn't for me.

When you open the pouch up it smells fantastic! Exactly what you want In strawberry lemonade. Unfortunately, the taste is weaker than the smell. It does taste good and just like strawberry lemonade, but the taste is just not as strong as I thought it would be from the smell.There is a range for the amount of water. I used 1 scoop in 16oz and I would say it was lightly flavored. If you prefer a stronger flavor mix it in 12oz. As others mentioned, it did take a bit to dissolve. I did get it to dissolve, but it took about 2 minutes of vigorous shaking. My kids (ages 6 and 8) both enjoyed it, but also noted that the flavor was not as strong as other sports drinks (so it really depends on what you are looking for flavor wise).Overall, it’s a pretty good mix. It’s a little pricy for the size (especially if you like a strong flavor in your hydration mix), but it does taste good and is pretty customizable.

Good strawberry lemonade flavor, more strawberry than lemonade, but you do get a bit of both. I usually use two scoops in a 24oz blender bottle and it's pretty tasty. It does have 19g of added sugars per serving which seems a bit high, maybe along the lines of regular gatorade? A little on the pricey side as well as $25 gets you 20 servings (scoops), which in my case would be 10 bottle's worth of mix. Would prefer to stick with sugar free options when they're available.

I like that this has healthier ingredients than your typical sports drink powders, but it does have quite a bit of sugar per serving. The flavor is ok, but not quite as good as I had hoped, and doesn’t really taste like strawberry lemonade to me. It tastes a bit better if you make it more concentrated than the directions say to do, but then you are getting more sugar. Overall, I think it is alright, but not totally sure if I would get it again, or at least in this flavor.

The ZYM electrolyte drink mix tastes and smells exactly like I expected for strawberry lemonade. While the scent is strong, the taste is much weaker. I end up putting a little more than the scoop for 12-16 oz of water to my taste buds liking. The mix is mostly sodium, cane sugar, and vitamin C for its electrolyte makeup.The powder is very fine and when scooping or dumping the powder a lot goes into the air so I have to keep my face away to not inhale it. It dissolves OK with a stir but does best with a small battery-operated handheld whisk. There's always a little mix that doesn't fully dissolve at the bottom no matter how much I tried mixing it all.

Decent sports drink mix. Awfully large amount of sugar - really not needed in an electrolyte drink mix. And the taste is a bit weak - additional amount needs to be added, increasing the sugar amount even more.I've had better. And better priced. This works decently though, just be aware of the large amount of sugar you are consuming with each serving. It does not mix very will with just stirring, but if you use a shaker bottle, it mixes better. Wish the taste was stronger.A decent sport electrolyte drink mix, with issues mentioned above.
