Family Fun, Exercise, and Tennis Practice all in one!!
The Tourna Deluxe Rebound net is great. My child immediately emptied the box on our carport and proceeded to put it together herself. (She is 16.) She quickly figured out that she needed a little help to click the rods together. The excitement came when the net was going up. Almost through!!! Or so we thought.... then came the last side of springs......😬! We were glad we saved the bottom row for last! We realized we needed another strong person, so my daughter ran inside and got her 21 year old brother who was at home because of the pandemic. He used his strength to pull the net down, while one person laid on the ground and hooked the springs, and the other person was responsible for handing the springs and S-hooks to the “spring man” on the ground. Whew!🤪💦 It did take 3 people for the last step, but once we got the routine down, we were through in no time!It was done, and it was worth it! As soon as it was completed, they began to hit. It took a little bit to figure out the best speed to hit, but once they did..... they played for almost an hour!! Our dog even got into the action when the ball was hit wild. She chased it down and brought it back to them.Just from me watching them hit, I would say that this is not a great item if you are looking for strategy or placement. However, it is an awesome tool for practicing your tennis form, hand-eye coordination, foot work, and getting in some cardio at the same time. It is a very handy tool to have when you do not have any one else to hit with nor a court available to you.Not sure how long it will hold up, but during this Covid-19 pandemic, this tennis rebound net is going to bring us some family fun and exercise!!

Does exactly as promised at a very reasonable price.
This works and works quite well. It seems most of the negative comments are about assembling it (stretching the net). Tilt the frame over, lay it on the ground, and putting in the net will become much easier. It was a process of trial and error, but I put a spring on the center of each side. I then went to the corners, and lastly filled in the gaps. The real trick is to hold the hook securely in one hand, then pull on the other end of the spring with the other hand and work to stretch the spring instead of trying to pull the net into place. In the beginning, I was struggling, but after I got the technique down, the last half of the springs went in quickly and easily. As to how it plays, it doesn't slam the ball back to you, but the ball does come back allowing you to keep hitting "plums" (sorry, racquetball term for a low, slow return, i.e, a set up ball). For the price, I could not be more pleased.

Net works as intended if you use a full swing
Took the plunge, better than spending over $1000 for a concrete wall or $1500 for a prefabricated modular tennis wall. I gave it 4 stars because it basically met my expectation. If you swing almost all out and you are a high school varsity tennis player who is willing to take it at 1 bounce from 15 feet away or 2 bounces from 25 feet away, then this is the expectation of rebound for this net. Even with the front end feet added to add about 15 degrees of an angle up, the one bounce will not travel the full way from net to baseline (39 feet). I have the net as taut as possible and the best one bounce I can get where the ball is above knee level is about 19 feet away and I really crushed my ground strokes to make that happen. The repetition and good control will help your game but don't be too expectant of a long rebound unless you are hitting your ground stokes at around 75 mph. I would recommend to a high school varsity tennis player who doesn't have rich parents that could build them a cement wall or buy one of those at least $1,500 modular units. I am glad the manufacturer added the video. That girl (and she obviously had coaching) is hitting her forehand pretty solid and you can see the acceptable height of the bounce is 18 feet between the baseline and service line. Also another reviewer makes an excellent point about saving the bottom springs to be installed last because you will need to strength and extra octopus hands to get those hooks and springs in place. You can find replacement springs, hooks, and net at an online tennis store for $20 for the springs & hooks, and $30 for the net. It's a decent product as long as you have certain expectations going in.

My son would rather bounce the ball off the wall
It took 4 people to put this together because of the difficulty in stretching the net from one end to the other. I actually contacted the company thinking they gave us the wrong size net because allOf our fingers were sore pulling and stretching it. We never could use all the springs because it kept warping the frame. The rubber stops on the bottom keep falling off every time you move it-they are not snug. So, I went to Home Depot and Lowe’s to replace but no one sells that size. So weird, the pipe width is in between all the rubber stop sizes:(. So, now when we try to move it, the metal scrapes on the concrete making cringe worthy sounds the whole way. My son is 14 and practices tennis 2-3 hrs a day in lessons, drills and wall ball. He’s on a varsity high school level and has begun practicing inside the wall of our garage more than he’s using the net. He says it’s because the ball will sometimes roll over the top behind the net vs always bouncing back from the garage wall. Oh well. Mama tried.

SPRINGS ARE BREAKING!
The media could not be loaded. This was delivered after dark May 6, 2021. I Assembled it May 7. Instructions were easy to follow. Took two of us to attach the springs it’s so tight. I mean it’s REALLY difficult to attach the top springs. It’s a great size, net is really tight with plenty of bounce back. May 8th, after a total of 2 hour of use two springs near each top corner have broken at the eyelet. This will cause a domino effect on the other springs. Ive used rope to try and reinforce the net. We really liked it, at first, and don’t want to return it, yet, but there is no info at Amazon how to contact the manufacturer for replacement parts.
