Poly and Bark Trattoria 18" Stool in Elmwood Bronze

LOVE this stool (actually stools as I bought two). My husband had a stroke and his whole left side is numb. He can still function, but it's a challenge for him to work on projects at low levels. This is the perfect height for many of his projects and is high enough, it's easy to get up from vs. some of the shorter stools. It's also the PERFECT height for him to sit on so he can put his feet on the tub to trim his toe nails, vs. having to bend down/squat. It's also great for extra seating at the kitchen table when grandkids/kids/even other adults are visiting - it's close to the same height as the chairs. Handy handle on the seat - our 5 year old grand daughter moves it around. They stack, which is a plus for storing, but the 2nd stool I received has some scuffing on it, which I suspect is from stacking. Being metal though, when the time comes, it'll be easy to use spray paint to refinish them. I'm not sure of the maximum weight they hold, but at least 175 lbs. I'm guessing - at least. SO glad I came across this stool - once it came, I thought of SO many uses for it - thus me ordering a 2nd one. If you wanted to 'fancy it up some,' easy to sponge colored or metallic paint on it.

This stool has so much potential, it just needs a little more care when being built and a quality check before shipping. The first thing I noticed after unboxing it is that it was not level and wobbled. All of the feet seemed to be fine and I had to whack the bottom of one a couple times with a hammer to straighten the stool out (with something underneath to protect the seat of course). While I had it upside down I noticed that the welds are pretty sketchy. Looking at the bracing there is probably about 3/8" gap between the brace and the leg that is partially filled by the weld. The next big thing is that the wooden seat was not installed straight. It hangs a little off of one side and leaves an edge on the other. Finally, the finish on the wood seat could be better. It is stained wood with a matte finish. I would have preferred a couple coats of poly to give it a little shine and extra protection. Maybe I will just pull it off and do that myself when I straighten the seat out but it would be nice if the stool was sold with options for such things. I'll probably be sending it back before it falls apart.

We LOVE these stools! They fit perfectly between the legs of our farmhouse table. I specifically live how easy they are to pull to the other room for extra seating when we have a crowd (they easily stack in the corner when the space is needed).They are really well made and I feel like I got a great deal for the quality of the piece!

Great solid stools to have around the house. We are not gentle, small people, so I was looking for a well built stool that would last. This stool came assembled & ready to use. Open the box & go. Versatile stool, many uses. We use as an extra seat at dinner when we have guests. Because it has a solid wood top, we also use it as side table by the couch, sturdy for coffee, snacks etc. I would recommend this stool.

This stool is the perfect color and size for the small desk I bought. It seems sturdy and modern. My husband is 210 lbs and he feels comfortable sitting on it...I did purchase a chair pad for it here on Amazon and it really finishes it off well. I'm happy with my purchase.

Sturdy and well built chair height stool is perfect. I use it as a desk chair in a bedroom since I seldom use the desk and it looks manlier than a lot of the other options I looked at. The legs are just wide enough the Roomba can get in between and keep the floors clean and I can store the stool completely under the desk keeping a clean, clear look.

I bought 2 stools and love them! Smaller size stool fits perfectly at a standard height dining room table. Colors are exactly as shown online. Wooden seat looks like it will last & chair feels like much higher quality than I expected for the price. I would have given them 5 stars, but 1 stool is a little wobbly.

It is sturdy and cute, but for some reason this stool is not as comfortable as other similar wood top stools.

Good quality and matched our industrial theme well.
