First of all, I was able to purchase at an offer price way below RRP. But as a piece of kit to use in conjunction with mobile phone, action camera, point and shoot, or attached gimbal it is perfect and the quality is excellent. Modular system of the whole rig gives a flexibility that others like beastgrip pro cannot match.The lenses mount allows me to mount 13mm (with an adapter purchased elsewhere). 17mm, 37mm and 52mm threads. The rail system allows hotshoe mounts to be slid in anywhere. The threaded bolts allows me to clamp on a multitude of accessories in any combination.By removing the top rail I can attach a 3 axis gimbal and have a duel hand held rig. By attaching my point and shoot and action camera, I can use an attached mobile phone as a monitor and camera control.Additional benefits is in transport, being able to disassemble the unit, it can be packed and takes up little room in a bag, further unlike other rigs which have bulk due to the moulded cage arrangements, this can lay flat.The handles are well constructed and allow for three positions, so lights can be directed straight ahead or Angeled 45 degrees inwards or outwards. Further if you prefer a more rounded grip these can be purchased elsewhere and attached with the 1/4 inch supplied screws.The inclusion of a curtain that can be attached when using phones that have the lens on the side of the phone prevents light intrusion from the sides, but is not required with phones that have a mid body camera lens design.Other smart bits of design is the cushioned roller which is attached to the lens mount carriage, so the phone is held at two points and against the rubber backed lens carrier. This roller can be removed if required. One issue using the roller is with edge to edge screens as it is partly obstructed. But phones with that have a bezel are not effected as the roller sits on the bezel.If you are into mobile videography, this is a must have. It is compatible with all phones no matter where the phone lens is positioned. Dreamgrip also supply accessories, such as addition threaded screws, clamps and small slide in plates with a 1/4 inch threaded hole. This allows quick release plates to be attached to the rail rather than the base of the threaded screws, giving a more stable mounting point.As I purchased just the rig system without the mic, lights or lenses etc, I cannot comment on the full system dreamgrip supply. However this rig camer with an a 52mm ND and CPL filter that are good quality, as well as a metal lens hood.I can also highly recommend this seller, who responds to enquiries quickly.
