LOGAN 5000 8-Ply Bevel Mat Cutter

I have been using it for cutting mountboard, together with a large Logan Adapt A Rule 40 inch. The start/stop lines are very handy and work pretty well. I have used a standard bevel cutter before, so have some experience, but the cheaper ones come without the start/stop lines, which is ok, but takes a bit of getting used to and a lot of hit and miss!

I bought this to replace my Logan model 702 cutter, which didn't perform as well as I had hoped. The Logan 5000 is excellent, speeding up my mountboard cutting and giving a professional looking finish. It took a few practice cuts to judge where to align the start and stop lines, but once I had done that the cuts were consistent. Would highly recommend.

Although the product was worth the original price of £31 and I accepted the £14+ postage, I was horrified to have to pay a further £14+ for customs and VAT charges before Royal Mail would release the parcel. With the original postage, this doubled the cost of the item and I would not have purchased it if I had known about this additional Customs charge..

So easy to use with - this was a replacement for a lost cutter and exceeds the precision of the original, can thoroughly recommend.

bought as a present for my daughter so this is unused. cannot comment on the item.

Far superior to my original Logan cutter and when used with the Adaptarule is so easy and precise. Am pleased with equipment.

Ohne umfangreiche Vorübung läßt sich mit dem LOGAN 5000 45°-Passepartoutschneider zusammen mit der passenden Führungsschiene sehr präzise schneiden. Sehr gut!

Si se tiene el cuidado la herramienta es muy buena y precisa, los cortes salen limpios y sin problemas.

I’ve had a few Logan mat cutters over the years and this is the easiest to use as the design has improved. It includes the plastic guides which fit over my Logan mat cutter.

I can't believe I got this for a much lower price compared to my local art materials supplier! Heavy duty and works easilly & well. I was able to mat some of my works already.

Die Anzeigen grün/Start und rot/Stopp stimmen nicht; sind um 5mm verschoben; die PP werden erst einmal nicht korrekt geschnitten: Anfang zu spät; Ende zu weit: kein ordentliches PP: man muss immer dran denken, 5mm weiter unten zu nehmen; gleich grün statt rot beim Stopp. Man kann auch die Klingen 270 für normale PP nehmen; dafür geeigneter und preiswerter (2fach zu verwenden)
