Good tester for first build
I was a little hesitant to buy this as there is a note in the description that said the switches might be different due to what’s available at the time. That being said, I’m very happy with the switches that came! Something that should be noted is that a lot of the AKKO switches are now v3 versions and so they may seem a little different when they come on this sampler. I noticed some reviews said that there acrylic base came cracked but everything arrived in perfect condition and all the switches sat firmly in their slots. That being said, I loved being able to try all the Akko switches and even the gateron milky yellows which was an unexpected surprise! In the end, I went with the Akko creamy yellow pro v3 and I don’t regret it at all. I definitely think this is worth it for anyone wanting to experiment with switches!

It's a great fidget toy and tester
Well made keyboard switch holder/tester wish it had more clicky and tactile switches instead of the linear, but it works and is a quality product. Fun to click on while waiting for downloads updates and installs especially if you work with computers and spend a lot of time waiting or need something to occupy your hands while working on something else. Also good to figure out what kind of switches you want or don't know the differences between types, or if you have a custom computer shop to let customers see what they want.

Did not come with advertised switches.
Solid set of test switches. However I did not receive the same switches that were advertised. 3/16 switches did not have pins at all. I’ve attached a legend to help those who would like to identify the switches on the board if yours came in like mine did.

Functional sampler and tester
Mine was in great shape. The acrylic base wasn't scratched or cracked like some have experienced and all the switches work fine. The Akko x TTC Demon and the Akko V3 Cream Yellow Pro were swapped when comparing against the product photos but I was able to identify that and swapped them back easily enough. Great set for the price and I was able to feel what I wanted to sample and make a decision.

Good variety of keys
Great for picking keys and as a fidget. I need to buy another one since both my kids want one.

Received switches don't match description
About 50% of the switches listed in the description are missing, so I have a bunch of switches I now have to search for based on color and shape etc. This is not great for a newcomer to the custom keyboard scene who wants to figure out what switches to buy. As far as quality goes, they're all work, no bent pins etc. I'd update my review to a higher rating if the information on this product page is updated to show the details on all the switches that actually ship in this set.

A very cheap and a good way to feel how a swotch would sound
What I like alot about this product is that it's a easy way to see what a switch sounds and feels for the future if you ever build a custom keyboard, and if your on a budget and need to feel out alot of switches it's a good bang for your buck. A downside of this is the switches fall out of the case easily and it doesn't come with keycaps to see how the switch actually sounds. I would definitely recommend this product as if you need to hear how a switch sounds and feels in person.

Half the switches were different than the listing
None of the switches come labeled, which is inconvenient. Based on other reviews, I was kind of expecting that, and it wouldn't be that bad, except 7 out of the 16 switches that were supposed to be included, were not. They were swapped for different models. Instead of the Penguin, V3 Creamy Blue Pro, V3 Creamy Black Pro, Stellar Rose, Mirror, Dracula, and Starlit, I got Cilantro, Astrolink Magnetic, AstroAim Magnetic, Flash Magnetic, V3 Creamy Blue, V3 Creamy Cyan, and Bittersweet. Three of the replacements are magnetic switches, so they won't work with a standard mechanical keyboard, making them pretty useless as a back fill. So after spending 30 minutes between Amazon and Akko's site identifying switches, only to find out 20% of the switches aren't compatible is pretty frustrating. Just be aware, 7 of 16 were wrong and half the replacements won't work with mechanical keyboards.

Good enough to get job done.
Needs a list of what switch is which and also keycaps...but understand this is just a distributor and not the manufacture About 8 or 10 switches feel very similar to me which I found surprising

Great educational and testing tool. Fidget Toy when not used.
While this did not come with a sheet to tell me what keys were which, a quick search online and learning by tapping the different keys quickly showed me which was which, for the first time in my life, I truly understood what linear and tactile keys are, something reading about them will never teach you. Keycaps, sold separately, are needed to complete the experience. The sound changes, and the feeling when you press the key changes. And when you're done, it becomes a super fun fidget toy. My kids can't put it down.
