Simple, works great. Lightweight, even with battery
Cordless Plastic Welding Gun for Milwaukee 18v BatteryPlastic welding means melting a staple into a cracked seam, and perhaps melting the crack itself. I used this in repairing a short crack in an RV fresh water tank and was happy with the result.Battery power means not being tethered to a cord, and being independent of an AC supply. Using batteries you already own makes this both dependable (high quality batteries) and cost effective.Feeding each new staple means handling the tip; the electrodes cool very quickly but wear gloves.

My favorite tool! Forget trying to weld plastic with epoxy!
This is now my favorite tool! I've fixed over a dozen items in the first 1.5 months. The M18 battery seems to last "forever". Over the years, I've accumulated many broken plastic items waiting to mix "plastic epoxy" or JB weld to make the repair.Nearly every time, these staples will make the repair stronger than it was originally. I've saved a ton of $$$. The pointed staple works well -melting the plastic crack and sealing the gap. Now I'm looking for plastic things with cracks that need to be repaired. The distance between the electrodes is 13mm or approx. 1/2". Keep this in mind when purchasing additional staples.

a bit of a learning curve
excellent results after a couple of mistakes. practice on an unnoticeable area so you get a feel for the length of heating time. easy to push all the way through on thinner plastics. after cutting the legs off the staples, you'll have to grind down what remains above the repaired area. i used a side grinder with a medium coarse grit.

Absolutely great and effective
I just bought this plastic welder and I straight put it to the test I had a jet ski storage bin that was cracked on the bottom halfway through all the way I had done some prior work before with my soldering machine but it didn't do a lasting job so I decided to buy one plastic welder. The quality and that it's cordless and it heats up in 3 seconds and it really sinks the staple in the plastic very effectively very quickly and it doesn't heat up the nozzle only the Staples so much that it is kind of safe to the touch almost. I use my DeWalt 2406 amp battery lithium battery and it worked very well. It also came with 600 different kind of Staples and six types we're in I used the zig zag one and it made the storage bin the broken storage bin stronger than before. So I am absolutely sold for this machine and very good very effective everyone should have in the garage. Schreibe post my video and photos once upon let me do that is right now it give me the ever message von Upload my photos and videos.

Working all the time..
Only thing I didn’t like is the connector falls out.. you can fix it by stretching them sideways. Otherwise, it works with the Dewalt battery..
