It does a good job of holding our files and looks fine. I just can’t give a file cabinet 5 stars even if it’s easy to put together and performs well, and even if the drawers are reasonably stable, or the value is there for the quality of build, because at the end of the day, I don’t want to think about my file cabinet or my files at all. Four stars is as good as it gets for a file cabinet, amirite?

Bottom line, you get what you pay for. Takes a few hours to assemble all the pieces. The instructions are OK, but not completely intuitive. A screw gun and light required. The locking mechanism connections were hard to see and took a little work to figure out what the 24 pages of instructions are talking about in a few places. The drawers have parts that snap together and once figured out with the first drawer, the second drawer is easier. In the end it asks for two people to insert the drawers. The sliders are pretty cheap. If you're only one person, skip the instruction and just have to work it out the best you can. It's pretty light weight when assembled. hoping it all works out. But don't plan on something real solid in the end. It is what it is. A cheap alternative for what you want to do with it. Hope it holds up for what I need, which is not much. It took me 2.5 hours to do the first time assemble reading the instructions, and I'm an experienced person. Most of the lag time is trying to figure out what the instructions mean in a few places. Not a good purchase if you're not used to a lot of assembly.

It is great for small spaces

Everything is quality with this file cabinet. However, it is difficult to lock the front wheels as they're too far under the bottom drawer. The wheels need to be moved out towards the front. I use it without the wheels being locked. It's still a nice cabinet.

Super easy to assemble and great product

This is great for what I need it for - for home office - it is compact - fits where I need it - and sturdy - It came assembled - I just had to unpack and put in place! I would purchase again!

This is a fairly decent small metal chest. The drawers are decent size and the chest is fairly sturdy, but I think it is somewhat overpriced. Assembly was a bit tricky and the instructions were not always clear. Some adjustments were needed to make the parts fit for my unit. Might be somewhat difficult to assemble for someone not too handy.
