I bought these tire for my 2013 mustang GT to replace the Fedral Super Steel 595s that were on it. The super steels were so loud on the hiway it was ridiculous, they rode like crap and didnt hook worth a damn (went to local 1/4 mi drag strip and spun until the 1/8th mile.. I bought a pair of these to try them out and put them on the rear of my car and after only driving about 200 miles on them I can honestly say they are leaps and bounds better than the fedral tires. I can actually get a decent launch on these tires and don't spin thru 2nd and part of 3rd like I did with the Fedrals. I've had them at 140+ mph with no issues. They felt super stable even going through bends at that speed. I am going to be placing an order for another pair to put on the front of my car. I'm super impressed for a 300 dollar set of tires.

I can't talk down on these tires for the price. This was my second pair of rear tires for a 2006 Mercedes S430. First pair lasted almost to the month 1 year. Total miles driven approximately 9.5-10k in mostly city and short fast freeway runs picking up my kid from school. I don't know if those are less than ideal driving scenarios.. Bought second pair on April 26 2024 and as of today December 5 2024 they are toast. Very strange that in these last 2 months both rear tires wore out excessively exactly in the same area. Outer edges are shredded. I have no idea why this happened as my tire pressures are consistent thanks to On-board monitoring and no rear suspension or hub work has been done. Someone suggested that the W220 is a very heavy car and city driving can chew through these soft tires. Again, I don't blame the tires because while healthy with thread they performed fine. Easily hit 130mph and felt stable. I'm probably writing this cause I need a 3rd pair .. 🤷♂️🤣 Can't beat the price for these staggered 18" AMG wheels.
