3-Piece 8" Wood Rasp File Set, Includes Flat/Half-Round/Round. For Woodworking & Sharping Wood

I did not have any files at all and am learning all about house maintenance. I used these yesterday to help size the openings for a new doorknob an an existing door. This kit had exactly what I needed! Worked perfectly. As a beginner I love that there are so many options no matter the project. I also appreciate the wire brush cleaning tool, and the carrying case to keep them organized.

Nice file set. I do a lot of woodworking projects and I need something that was just simple to get into tight spots. Sometimes the old ways are the best and these work perfect

This is what I would consider a nice novice or entry level file set. Value for money is good if you are in occasionally in need of a variety of files in various shapes and sizes.Functionality is fine, but this set is for what I would consider light use. Some of the smaller files arrived with bent points/tips, which I was able to straighten with pliers.I can’t really attest to durability as I just got them, but they seem to be ok for woodworking and light use on metals and alloys.The roll up storage/ carry bag is a nice addition to the set.

Nice files. Pretty hard to mess that up. Handles seem well fit and metal seem good. Hey it a file so is what it is.

I used an angle grinder to cut aluminum french cleats and had to clean up a lot of rough edges and burs (pictured). These files made quick work of rounding the edges. Due to the way these cleats work the edges need to be clean to be hung correctly. Very happy with them first use.
