Can these be applied to sheetrock painted walls?

This looks to use adhesive pads which just stick to a surface. I suspect that on painted walls the paint would just tears away from the sheetrock given enough weight.

Has anyone used these in their RV shower? If so, have they held up?

What’s the difference between black and carbon black?

I am not sure but I believe I got black which is glossy looking. Maybe the other black is a flat black. Sorry I cannot be of more help. I love the caddies though! You will not be disappointed.
