Good for fridge waterline
Great set of couplers, works for me perfectly of connecting my copper water line to the new fridge. The standard 1/4 works out of the box. I was told I should cut the old terminal and use new sleeves and nuts to avoid potential leakage so I found this set. I only need one but as an amateur, this set gives me more chance of messing things up and just cut and use a new set. It is definitely much cheaper (per set) compared to just buying exact number of nuts/sleeves.

I bought this compression fittings assortment kit to fix a small water line in my garage and it turned out to be pretty handy to have around. The kit comes with a good mix of sizes, so I didn’t have to run back to the hardware store trying to find the right fitting. The brass pieces seem well made and everything threaded together smoothly without any issues. I used the 1/4” and 3/8” fittings for a water line repair and they sealed up nicely with no leaks once tightened properly. It’s also nice that it includes the ferrules, inserts, and nuts all in one kit so you have everything you need. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the storage case could be a bit better organized — some of the smaller pieces can shift around if the box gets moved a lot. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of. Overall it’s a solid kit to keep on hand for small repairs on water lines, air lines, or similar projects. Definitely saved me a trip to the store. 👍
