Perfect rake for my 6 year old who is rough with his tools but loves to help

Works great for poop patrol for dogs. I use it to scrape 💩 into the dustpan. Saves my back.

Positives: these are very cute tools and they are made in the USA. Negatives: quality control is poor especially since they are made for toddlers - but poor really for any ages. The pole ends are very rough - easily fixed by sanding and spraying with a clear finish. —-But after doing that I saw that the rake pole handle had a very sharp split. I am adding photos. I ordered a new set and strangely the new pole handle on the rake is painted with a milky white finish, rather than the clear finish over wood. In the new set 2 of the tools have the milky finish and 2 the clear finish. The clear finish new tools still have rough pole handle ends - the milky finish tools do not. I hope the manufacturer works on upgrading the quality- perhaps the changing to the white finish is the solution.

The wooden handle is sanded and varnished. The bright orange plastic (was expecting blue) is pretty rigid, slightly angled inward, with a straight edge. It is fastened on by two small brads on one side. I plan to reinforce with a wood screw.

Perfect size for getting in between flowers in my flower beds.

Excellent quality! Not flimsy. You could actually tidy up small beds in your garden. It's strong, smooth, durable, well made and my toddler grandson loves it.

I use it to rake the fringe on my carpets!

I use it for maintenance of mulch in my flower beds. Lightweight, small enough to get around plants, but effective.
