Obaby Cot Top Changer (White)

I recently bought a Ikea cot and wanted a changing top to make best use of the limited space in my nursery. I had seen several online and was surprised at how expensive they were so when I saw this one I checked the size against my cot dimensions and went for it. I was really chuffed with how perfectly it fit and it looks of nice quality and is study. Also fits my changing mat perfectly and created needed extra surface space in the room.

It is simple but nice changing cot. Fits well 140x70 cot and it is spacious. Good value for money

Lovely product and it was very easy to assemble. I am 8 months pregnant and I did it on my own in 10-15 minutes, that's how easy it was. I have a 60x120 cot and it fits perfectly. Very nice quality but I think it's too expensive for what it is, hence 4 stars.

Fulfils its function, barely. I understand the design, but as this is designed it does not work well for us. The side that you are supposed to change the baby from does not overhang the cot by much, so that when you place your baby on there, close to you and close to the edge, as much of the weight as possible is inbetween the two cot walls, so it doen't flip. The other side overhangs by a fair amount, the overhang will be variable depending on your cot width. Due to space constrictions, the cot sits close to wall, and this changer does not allow us to put it in place without constantly moving the crib away from the wall. Forced to use it backwards if we want to use it at all. The base came chipped. Luckily the damage was on the side that a sticker was stuck to. Sticker was impossible to remove without damaging the surface of the board, so both are now on the underside of changer. The holes for screws were slightly off. Assembly was made slightly more difficult than necessary. Also velcro strap to secure it to cot was fitted the wrong way (parallel to cot wall as opposed to perpendicular). Had to unscrew and reposition it. Don't know if that was by design or what. Position of velcro strap makes it very difficult to strap and unstrap it. Heavier than expected. Strap to secure it is difficult to operate. Asymmetrical design. All in all, changing is made more difficult by this changer. Purchased to make our lives easier, not more difficult. Overpriced. Everyone fancies themselves the king of DIY, but the design is so basic that I believe I could have built something that suited our needs better than this. It is not a terrible product, but it was a waste of money for us to be perfectly honest. However, different strokes for different folks. Assembly was easy, even with improperly drilled holes. I assume most items will not come damaged. Feels fairly solid once assembled. Fits changing mats. Maybe it suits your needs, all I can say is it doesn't suit ours.

Fits perfect on top of our little girl's IKEA cot (L 144cm, W 76cm, H 97cm). Sturdy and good quality.
