Robust and industrial.
So far, no complaints. I bought this to mix old modeling paints, which had been sitting for three years. For single bottles, it works perfectly out of the box. It will take some customization if you want to use the foam insert to mix up to nine at a time, but it can be done.

Great for Gel Nails
I ordered this to use with gel nail polish. I know it's not the standard application, but it sure makes application much smoother and the end results are fantastic.

Mixes Well; Needs Better Stability
I had been looking for a vortex shaker to use in my classroom for a science experiment. There’s one experiment that requires us to shake a mixture excessively—students begin to get silly and lose focus having to do it by hand, so this s the med like an excellent solution. The item has some weight behind it and seems VERY solid. I feel like it’s a quality item that will last. The noise level is pretty small for what this is. You can hear it, but that didn’t bother me at all. The only issue I had (and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) was that the entire unit moves across the table as it’s shaking what is on top of the vortex blender. The blender does have adhesive stickers on the bottom which would likely keep it in place, but that would require me to leave the vortex machine in one place at all times, and I want it to be more portable. I’m sure I’ll find a solution for my one issue. In the meantime, this is a solid machine, and if you need to consistently blend things, this might be perfect, especially if you’re planning to leave this in one specific place.

Works Great
This is a great tool for quickly mixing suspensions or colloids like paint. It's also great for combining liquids of different viscosities like when you're making fragrances. It is relatively quiet and I had no problems with the machine "walking" along my countertop even though I did not use the adhesive to permanently stick it in place. In fact, the hardest part about operating this mixer was finding the right type of container to use with it. There are three different bases that can be used, ranging from the typical "push to mix" inverted cone (paraboloid?) to a foam test tube holder thingy. There's even a small rubber platform for gently mixing flat bottomed containers like flasks. That one only works with very slow speeds, though (ask me how I know). This is a great complement to a magnetic stirrer. Where one falls short, the other excels. Great product.

Good but rubber shreds
Pros: Wide speed range of 100-3000rpm Powerful motor Large LCD display shows speed and time Touch and continuous function Built-in timer Easy to clean Cons: Mixer can be a bit noisy The mixing cup is made of plastic, so it may not be suitable for all applications The rubber is wearing down over time

Good Power house Mixer
Amazing Vortex mixer. It comes with everything you need to get your mixing on especially if you're into miniature painting. It comes with with enough attachments to get you going regardless of your purpose is, it will mix it well!. The motor seems powerful and responsive, make sure to remove the plastic coving the feet to keep it from sliding around while operational, some people that reviewed this must of skipped that part. For the price this is a nice deal, the size and quality along with the ease of use (a simple dial) makes it a great investment.

Continous-ish
This is a nicely built vortex mixer that is similar to the kind I've used in a lab, with a nice big display and an easy touch function. The feet are adhesive and stick well, though it will shake the whole counter if it's not secure like a lab bench. One reviewer mentioned suction feet, which I think might be because he did not take off the stickers. He might have also received a slightly different version than mine. The continuous mode is poorly documented. I was hoping to set a low RPM speed for gentle overnight runs, but it shuts off after around 1.5 hours even if I set the time to zero. The manual, which is a bit in Engrish territory, is vague and says continuous mode works for a "very long time." Also, this mode aborts early at max RPMs, which I think can happen when it never really gets up to speed and it just gives up. This is preferable to overheating and damaging the motor, but I wish it gave some indication if that is the reason. The little top shelf for continuous mode is also a little confusing. It has a rubber top, which can't be used with a thumb screw to hold it in place since the thumb screw only works with the foam test tube holder. That tube holder started to spin on me without the rubber to prevent that, so I just did not use the thumb screw. I ended up 3D printing a holder for my bottles of shellac based stain. Despite my critiques, the mixer is quiet and does a great job mixing stubborn gelatinized shellac. I am happy with it overall.
