Item arrived fast and was as described. Two panels (each measuring 54 x 80). They were creased where folded but nothing a steamer cant remove. I put them on that same night and slept soundly. My room was blacked out and even when I woke up at 6 am, my room was dark until I opened the curtains. Material is not see thru at all, a heavier weight than an average curtain. One side is black, one side is white. Not too much shine on the white side. Overall, would recommend this to someone looking for affordable black out curtains. They do have grommets so keep that in mind for placement of rod if you want absolute darkness. I am happy with my purchase.

Let me start out by saying that I am an engineer (two actual engineering degrees not one that makes a claim without the paper to back it up). I know sound and how to remove sound. These curtains do not eliminate sound, so don't expect as such. No hanging curtain can fully remove all normal sound.My wife and I are trying to minimize the sound level to our bedroom as that's also my wife's stay at home office. I used these curtains and checked the sound level before and after to determine their effectiveness. I made sure the curtains overlapped the sides and top by 4-5 inches. With one curtain the sound was reduced by about 8 db's. To put that in perspective 10 db's double's the perceived loudness to an individual. That is equivalent to closing a hollow interior door between you and some form of noise on the other side. I then added a second curtain and was able to obtain about the same level of reduction. So in total about 15db's or a 3 times reduction in perceived loudness. Depending on the type of noise (low level TV in the next room) one curtain would drop the sound level to no less than a whisper with mostly low frequency noise entering the room. Without the curtain you could clearly understand not only the show but the entire scene. With two curtains the television almost became non existent. With medium level music two curtains would significant reduce the level of high frequency sound, but not much of the low frequency base. You could still hear the base fairly well although it had been muffled significantly.Ultimately these curtains work and do what they claim. People that claim otherwise are just clueless when it comes to understanding sound, perceived loudness, decibels, and sound penetration. Just like social media they talk as if they are educated when in reality they aren't. As for us these curtains aren't the color and size that fits well with our room. Else we would probably keep them.

Amazing. I sleep during a portion if the day because I work 3pm to midnight. Just moved into this house a month ago and can make my space my own. So blackout curtains we go! Ignore the light around the sides, the landlord had blinds installed in the entire house and unfortunately the ones in my room are installed on the outside of the frame, so the bluky top means I had to extend my rod out from the wall so there's a bit of a gap around the outside but a huge improvement! And I'm sure if I could have the rod closer to the wall there would be 0 light! Will warn, these things are heavy. Ensure your rod and mounts can handle the weight if you buy the larger sized ones. Quick before and after photos. Also I bought a lovely sheer curtain to use on the outside and dress it up! Last pick is with the sheer curtain over. Even prettier in person honestly!so I recommend the sheer and the blackout curtains lol

After a few months living with these curtain, I can they certainly lessen sound both in the room and from outside. As for blocking light, they are about as good as a curtain can be.They only issue I had was they substantial wrinkling that it came with. Like, not just the seems from folding, but wrinkles all over. It was nothing a good ironing didn't fix. I am not sure a cycle in the wash would get out wrinkles that copious and deep. Luckily, they turned out smooth enough I cannot see any remnants of seems or wrinkles without getting very close to the curtain and looking for them.Overall, this is definitely a solid buy for the price. Just don't expect to unpack them and hang them right away.

I love these curtains, I got them in sea teal color. They are a good quality material, the backside is black and I haven’t seen light shine through them - although they are on a window that doesn’t receive any direct sun light. The window is very cold in the winter so I wanted something to help keep the out. It is not winter yet but, has gotten down into the 30s and I do not feel a draft or coldness. I think they are going to be good this winter, at least better than the thin curtains we did have which we had to place blankets over to keep cold out.

These curtains are amazing and keep our room so dark. We are expecting and want to keep our room dark for when she is sleeping bedside next to us. We are in the process of rearranging our room so I can’t wait to get a smaller window curtain from the same brand to place on our smaller window. These curtains are amazing and they came so fast. I placed my order the day before and received them the next morning before I even went downstairs for breakfast. 10/10 will definitely purchase again!

Lately I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping and I reached my breaking point last week so I really needed something that would help. I just ordered the white because they came overnight and the moment I put them up I knocked out. I will say they are quite thick and muffle noise so it's perfect for me when people cut the grass in the mornings. I also really like how long they are. I will say that you might want to have a second sheer curtain because even in the day it is very blackout so either have blinds or something sheer.

I have bought 6 pairs of these curtains in different colors. This is by far the best brand of blackout curtains I’ve purchased. Thick, great quality and comes in a bunch of colors. I nap during the day and need a DARK room. These curtains do just that! Also helps with outside noise reduction. Easy to wash which is a major plus. They did come slightly wrinkled but the wrinkles fall out after hanging or you can just pop them in the dryer for a few mins.

These are amazing blackout curtains. Beautiful and good quality. Completely blocks the sun in my spare bedroom which has direct sunlight. Great price as well!

You can’t put a value on a good night’s sleep. I used to be tired at work all the time. Then I got these. Now my bedroom is so dark I can’t tell the difference between my eyes being open or closed and I sleep like an absolute brick.I use Velcro strips to stick them to the walls and to each other - cuts down on all light getting through around the edges.

I spent a month researching noise cancelling curtains and NICETOWN were highly recommended. I finally took the plunge and got these, like others have subsequently mentioned the material on these curtains is thinner than most regular curtains, they dont look up market and once hung resemble more of a long sheet than a nice curtain. Regardless of the asthetics I was desperate to get a noise cancelling curtain to combat road noise and these were supposed to be perfect for that. I can tell you they have made very minimal difference difference on that front. VERY DISSAPOINTED. If any one can recommend a product that actually does help reduce noise levels from windows please comment. Thanks.

Love these curtains! Great material, nice and soft. Specially love that they are pure white. Hard to find a curtain without the greyish tinge. Had been concerned that the black on the back would show. Doesn't show at all. Photos show the curtains right after they were taken out of the packaging and hung up. Therefore, the wrinkles. Hoping that with time the wrinkles will come out. Have not washed them yet. Highly recommend!

I bought these because I get migraines and sometimes just need the darkest room possible. The curtains themselves are fantastic they block out light, however I will need to look at changing how I hang them because light does escape from above because the curtains are not flush with the wall due to my curtain rod. I find the curtains all hang quite nicely together (I have 4 panels) and I can set them up so there is no light that leaks through its one nice solid wall of no light. I think these are fantastic and would definitely recommend them to others.I have included 2 photos, you can see where the light gets in from the top because of my curtain rod I have at the moment, but that also gives you a good idea of how much light these curtains are blocking out because under that is just darkness. First photo is without flash and the second photo is with a camera flash.(the photos were taken just after I unpackaged them and hung them, the wrinkles you see worked themselves out over time and now hang nicely)I don't know if it helps with noise cancellation or energy savings or any of that, but it works perfectly for what I needed it for, which is room darkening.
