Easy to install

I had some screws sticking out in my downspout so i had to roll it up to insert and expand it out. Thr screws actually went through the mesh and helps lock in place. For the top, I pressed it down so it closes the gap and also shapes it into a mushroom shape which holds it in place as well providing filtering. Hasnt had rain yet but looks like it works well.

The mesh allows too little through and clogs in a few days at most. I'd rather deal with bigger clogs less frequently, so we pulled these about a month after installing them.

Seem to be pretty standard gutter downspout leaf filters. Expanded metal lets the water through and keeps larger debris out. Comes shipped pre-rolled rather than flat packed. Adjust the size of the filter by wrapping the cut ends tighter. I've got small gutters so it took a bit of work to wind the filters down, though it was as I expected, knowing my equipment. Definitely an upgrade over the previous solution of shoving some coiled wire into the downspout hole.

Easy to install. Simple design. Had to work around the screws tips from the down spout.
