All-Rounder Pigeon Feed 20kg

I've been buying Bamfords for a while now. I'm not a pigeon fancier, I don't have a loft, I just feed the local feral birds because a neighbour was putting bread down for them and I thought they deserved better. The flock that comes to my yard really appreciate maple peas, so the mix here is excellent for my birds, there's never a morsel left behind. it's all good quality stuff and besides the occasional bit of chaff from the milling process I have to pick out it's all grand. The packaging is fairly strong, though the bag does occasionally puncture, I do like that there's a long window on the bag so I can see how much is still left in it. and it ships out in a carboard box though it's barely contained. Always ships out in good time from this seller, gets to me on schedule. I've found the all-rounder is great most of the year apart from the spring when I switch to the 'breed and wean' mix. I am a satisfied customer.

The seed arrives well-packaged in a robust plastic sack inside a cardboard box. The sack is well designed as it has a clear window panel, so it’s easy to see how much seed is left in it. There's a good range of seeds within it, and it does appear to be nutritious for the birds, although the transition to using it hasn’t been completely straight-forward. The birds were not keen on it at first, and it took a few days before they would touch it. Initially, they only ate the smaller seeds, but they’re gradually moving on to the larger ones. I think it will eventually be successful, but time will tell.

I’m no pigeon expert, but judging by how quickly my birds go through this food, I’d say they absolutely love it! The quality looks great, and after trying several different brands over the past couple of years, this one stands out as the best by far. Highly recommended!
