Great if you don't want to cabeling
This has been a great help so far. I got this for my brother so he would have a light on the side of his house at night without the need of running expensive wiring. It is bright enough and seemd to last the night. Installation took about an hour and that was mostly figuring out where we wanted it and final adjustments. It has survived rain and snow with zero wear indications,

Great for the shed out back.
Helps light up a dark yard.

Small but mighty
This is a great light to either supplement your existing lights or on it's own. You get everything you need to install the light in the box, which includes the solar panel, screws, mounting brackets, remote control, instructions, and the light itself.Installation will probably depend on where you decide to place your light but for my house all I needed was a ladder and a drill to screw in the mounting brackets. You will then just connect the light to the solar panel and that should be it. Instructions said that the light might take up to 2 days to work as the panel charges; however, mine started working right away. I wouldn't say it's the brightest light, but I actually like it better than some other lights that blind you as soon as they turn on. So far it seems to pick up all the movements on my walkway without any issues. Great light and highly recommended.

Saves a lot of money
If you're looking at these solar motion lights I highly suggest you just go ahead and get them. There's no need to think about it. It's easy to put up and then connect your solar panel which you can put anywhere. So if you have a place that you want the light that's not going to get any sun, this is for you. You literally can hang the light wherever you want and then you have a long cord so you can lead the solar part to where the sun will hit it. It's great to put under an eave on your front porch And then put the solar panel above it on the roof. That's sort of how I have mine. I love the way you can have the lights in three directions as it allows more lights to go to the sides instead of always just in front. And let me tell you this light is very very bright. Of course you can tone it down but I wanted bright. It comes with a remote but I'm not ever going to use that. This is the best way to save on your electrical bill. You probably won't notice it in the beginning but over time by the end of the year you'll see how much you've saved. I know you don't think that a light bulb takes a lot of electricity but in reality it does. Plus isn't solar much better anyways? And with these lights you don't have to go bigger because they're very bright. I know that seems to be a misconception. If the lights bigger it's going to be brighter not in the case of these. You really can't go wrong.

Had one go out after a month
Used these for lighting up a part of my fenceline. Had one go out after a month. My solar lights from Harbor Freight are still going after two years. Would not recommend theseI was contacted and they said they would replace it, however, never received it.

Good Light but poor motion Detection
Lighting is very good especially given the small size of this unit but motion detection is not very good. Both units will pick up movement only 4 to 6 ft away and this is mounted 8 to 10 ft high. By the time it lights the area, whatever triggered it is gone. I bought these to augment my security cameras and for that purpose, they're a waste. When lit, they do brighten a large area just slow to pick up anyone/anything approaching.

Good, bright light
Got this to go over our garage door. It puts out a nice, bright light that detects motion well. The motion detection is adjustable -- I currently have it set to stay off until it detects motion when it's dark outside. The light then stays on for about 20 seconds. My only criticisms are that it has a cheap feel to it and the photos in the product description show it out of scale (and larger) as compared to the surroundings.

Solar, bright, low maintenance
I was looking for a light to illuminate the path between my house and my neighbours, the light needed to be installed on the East wall meaning it is constantly shadowed. Being able to run the solar panel to the south wall for better light exposure was a real benefit. So far the light is working really well and has saved me running mains to the location.

Needs to be very dark before they light up
Good bright lights but it needs to be too dark before they activate

Must have 20/20 vision to read instructions so small print
Instructions could be a little clearer and in bigger print, had a job distinguishing where the on/off button was because of such small print but was there so miniscule, otherwise am more than satisfied with the product and would buy more of the same in future. Nice and bright, just make sure the solar panel is facing south in plenty of sunlight and eight hours charging time before switching on for first time.

Works well but smaller than expected
They appear to work well in summer charging and night time running and appear to be water resistant i.e. no leaks into the unit observed.Ideal for smaller areas
