I’ve already written lengthy, pithy reviews for the TOPENS products associated with my opener! They’re all wonderfully made and working! I’m super happy with my gate opener and my builder has one as well. Okay, the fobs. I love them. They open and close the gate from my house, which is super convenient when friends/family and others come over and I forgot to open the gate. Now, mind you, I have the super daddy opener app which is amazing, and even though we’re out in the country, we have Starlink and finally have great internet service, but you never know, and when that app doesn’t work (and I have other remotes for gadgets, and sometimes they don’t work until you do a rain dance and throw your phone on the ground). Now so far so good, but when we were installing the gate, we had forgotten to set up the app, and ain’t to good at that, so for a few days, all we had were these cute little fobs, and they worked like little champs. And so we have a back up, which is more than I can say for my front door.

2 remotes came with my Topens A8 single swing gate opener, but we wanted a few more, so ordered 3 additional remotes. Easy to program, they have worked flawlessly for the past 5 years, just now needing a new battery install. Highly recommended.

Purchased these for our Topens gate opener. They all work great. Have purchased 6 in total to give to family members for their access to our property. The batteries last quite a while, only one batter change in 4 years. I broke one of the batteries door broke. I used some metal tape to hold it in and still works great. They are so easy to program to the controller. Just a press of the button, Done.

I purchased these to go with the A8S opener and they work well. Easy to program and range is much better than expected

Here is my story. I am not only reviewing the TOPENS accessories but I am mainly reviewing the BIG PURCHASE, TOPENS CK1200 Automatic Sliding Gate Opener Chain Drive Electric Gate Motor for Heavy Driveway Slide Gate Up to 3400 Pounds, Security Gate Operator AC Powered with 20ft Roller Chain and Remote Control. I am generally handy with a working knowledge of any handyman job. When I got the quote of $4,500 to install a Gate Opener for my new fence I about dropped right then. I knew there had to be a better solution and cheaper. That's when I found the TOPENS CK1200 Automatic Sliding Gate Opener on Amazon. I was able to follow the installation instructions well. After purchasing some extra TOPENS accessories like extra keychain openers, an infrared sensor, a warning light and even a chain extension I was almost finished. I just needed some extra help or fine-tuning. Since I did all of the wiring too IO thought maybe I did something wrong when the sensor wasn’t responding properly and was not opening and closing the way I needed it to. I knew it had to do with fine-tuning because I did everything needed in installation. That’s when I reached out to the TOPENS Customer Service Team and received friendly and knowledgeable advice from “Nancy." She’s my hero. I simply explained in email the behavior of the gate as it responded to commands. She had me fine-tune the Sensor I installed. It’s worked!!! Then I sent my second and last email with additional questions on the gate opening and closing behavior. Nancy told me how to tweak the settings on the control board and Waaaaa-Laaaaa …. Everything works!!! AWESOME!!! I was so happy. Nancy made it so simple. What a great gate opener. Besides having the pleasure of working with Nancy, here’s the other BIG WIN … my new gate opener including installation (done by me) cost a grand total of $728.53. I saved $3,771.47. THANK YOU TOPENS AND THANK YOU NANCY!!!!

These remote controls replaced a pair of older ones, and I must say I should have purchased these remotes a long time ago. The quality and weight feel premium, and they were very easy to connect to my gate.

When I purchased my Topens gate it came with 2 remotes. I needed at least 2 more. I purchased an off brand that was a little cheaper. They didn’t work. I returned them. So then I purchased the Topens M12 remotes. They paired with my gate immediately. They have been working Great.

I have two gates and was easily able to program the remotes to open both gates. The remotes work at a greater distance than stated in the item description so I can start opening the gate sooner as I drive up to it. Good product.

I have 4 of these controllers all work faultless one is the house approx 300 yards from gate and always opens and closes the gate without any issues even in cold weather . Have one in each of our cars and trucks also.

Easy to pair with the Topens opener, it has good range.

Programmed first try with no issues. Wish it worked from further away as you have to be pretty close to open the gate.
