Aramis Aftershave Splash for Men 120 ml

Purchased from Amazon directly - by that I mean "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon". The box is not sealed or wrapped in cellophane. There are no additional stickers, barcodes or labels. The printed Barcode is 0 22548 00160 8 A Date Code is stamped into the box as part of a longer code, and is also printed onto the sticker on the bottom of the bottle. There is an inner fold-out box-like cardboard structure. Aramis branding is printed on the inside of the box, but not the inner structure. The bottle is clear glass with a threaded top. I purchased two 120ml After Shave as part of two separate orders a few days apart early March 2017. The Date Code stamps are both: A74. I used two different sites to check the date code (checkfresh_dot_com and checkcosmetic_dot_net) and these show the dates as 07-2014. Indicating that the products are 2 Years and 8 Months old at the time of purchase. This product was compared against a 120ml/4.1oz After Shave from the newer "Blockbuster" set (EdT, Aftershave, Aftershave Balm, Body Shampoo, Deoderant Stick) purchased from a reputable bricks and mortar perfume shop 01-2017. The Date Code on this 120ml is A86 which indicates 08-2016. There is no difference in colour, smell or lasting. It's the same product. If the Blockbuster set is genuine, then so is this product from Amazon at a very reasonable price (£20.97). Note: The old "Blockbuster" set (included 'soap on a rope') was being significantly reduced, approx 1/3 off, at a well known UK-wide high street pharmacy chain. It would make perfect sense that older stock is simply reduced in price. There are plenty of reviews and opinions on what people think it smells like, so I won't add mine. This product does smell different on different people. It's advisable to sample a fragrance before purchasing, and to also leave the fragrance to develop throughout the day, as the initial smell can be quite different to what remains after even 30 minutes. Compared to the Eau de Toilette, the After Shave is softer in scent and doesn't last as long. However the Aftershave is meant to be used after shaving, on skin made more sensitive. The ingredients list is the same as EdT except missing in the After Shave is: Benzyl Salicylate, Farnesol, Benzyl Alcohol and Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone.

I find this aftershave to be quite delightful, and it hasn't once generated any kind of adverse comments some other aftershaves have caused me in the past. It lingers for quite a few hours, and several ladies have commented on how it "smells nice". For an aging unattractive plain boring bloke, it's a breathe of fresh air to have such comments! And the wife likes it too (not the comments, but the aftershave aroma) This is the Aftershave version in a glass bottle, I prefer the Eau De Toilette version (plastic bottle with a spray) as it's much easier to apply, this can be found here . There was a time this item was showing the wrong product (which accounts for the reviews pointing this out), but it appears fixed now.

Present for stepdad he loved it great value for money

The product ok but the box was crushed on arrival. So not a good gift to give to a relative 😕

Great product and service

Have bought this Aftershave for years now and it has become my signature - it is comented on by colleagues asking what it is and where to purchase. I love its distinct smell, subtle and fresh - some aftershaves can be so strong and overpowering both for the person wearing and anybody close by. A good price and great value, would recommend the 120ml seems to be better priced than the 60ml .

Have used Arimas for years and years, the one l found on Amazon looked good value. It smells like Arimas but doesn't last as long as the strength seems much less than the bottles l have bought from a store in town or the airports

Husband loves this stuff seems to be the real thing. Did not have the cellophane outer wrapper on box but I have bought boxes like this from boots so I am not too concerned. Good price and will buy again if the price is right
