If you're updating your house with some chrome - you probably want some sockets too. This double socket - polished chrome - looks good and seems to work OK. The switch action is good. Make sure you earth it - perhaps check with a socket checker to make sure.It has single pole for Neutral and Live but two for Earth so use the closest one. Note that older sockets seem to have the N & L the other way round so use a socket checker to ensure you have wired them correctly. I have found some sockets wired the wrong way.

What is there to say? Its nicely finished in polished chrome with rounded edges and white plastic 3 pin terminal plug connectors. Theterminals are very accessible for mains wiring. If this is your style of socket there are no negatives.
