A Smart Battery Charger
I've been using this battery charger for a few weeks and I am very happy with it.This is a smart battery charger meaning it will detect the type of battery in each of the four charging bays - NiCd, NiMH, Li-ion. You can charge any combination of batteries as each charging bay is independent from the others. Being a smart battery charger it will not overcharge the battery as the charging current will drop to zero when the battery is fully charged. This is different from many other chargers which will continue to charge the battery even when it is fully charged.I recommend this charger!

Cool display & works well
The "WISSBLUE" battery charger has a nice LCD display that shows the charging current, the voltage, the current number of milliamp hours (mAh) the charger has supplied, the percentage of full, the battery type and target voltage and the total charging time of the selected cell. Yeah, it's got a pretty extensive lot of information. The two buttons perform a few different functions like selecting a cell to view the current information and setting the charge current of each individual cell. This charger definitely has more features and info than any other battery charger of this type I've used. It'll even automatically find the total capacity of a battery by discharging the cell then charging it up. The only gripe I have with the charger is that it can't do the aforementioned on multiple cells at once; only on port number 4. Still it's nice to have the option at all.I love the fact that the charging current can be set to just 250 mA for LiIon as other chargers I've had would only go as low as 500 mA. If you're scratching your head wondering why in the world I'd want to slow charge then I'd have to tell you: the less current you put into a battery, the less heat it makes. Batteries, in this case lithium, don't like heat and it will degrade them, especially regularly charging them. All batteries eventually degrade and thus have less and less capacity but regularly charging them with less current can dramatically increase the time they are useful.I would definitely recommend this charger whether you're charging NiCd, NiMHd or various flavors of lithium. The charger is very versatile and provides more information than the average user will know what to do with, but it'll be there if/when you need it.A definite 5/5 and a solid recommendation from me.

Flexible battery charger that is picky about USB power supplies
This battery charger promises to charge a large variety of rechargeable batteries with automatic detection. On that front it did succeed from my use, although I only had two types of rechargeables to throw at it (AA eneloop and 4.3v Lithium-ion). It was able to charge both with automatic detection of battery type. The charger does have a number of limitations, though. It is only able to cycle and test batteries in slot 4, so testing can be on only one battery at a time. It also charges pretty slowly. On the eneloop batteries, it seemed to take about twice as long to recharge them as the charger they came with. It also claims to be very flexible on what USB power supplies you use to power the charger (it does NOT come with a power supply), but I found multiple USB chargers that it did not like. That included a 60W USB-C power supply that has worked for years for me with everything that I have used it with. I did eventually find USB power supplies it would work with and it did work fine once I found one it liked.Pros:-Does seem to auto-detect rechargeable battery type and accommodate various types automatically-Display is informative-Can charge 4 batteries at the same timeCons:-Picky as to power supply used-No power supply included-Seems slow to charge-Only one port discharges or tests batteries

Another good Wissblue product
I have a LOT of 18650 batteries and require a LOT of chargers. I use the batteries in projects that I make and the flashlights I have/build.I have other Wissblue chargers (and other brands) and I like 'em. They work as advertised and I have never had a problem with one of them. I used to be leery of the USB chargers but I find they work as well as chargers plugged into 110V AC.One of the best features is the battery slots DO NOT have super strong springs holding the battery in place. I have other chargers that have broken because the spring holding the battery in place is so ridiculously strong that the rails have broken at the vertical section that holds the battery. Plus if you're not careful and hold onto the battery when removing it will launch across the room.Although I do prefer four individual readouts that all work simultaneously (as in the charger I had that broke because of the strong springs) being able to switch to a particular slot is not all bad.Charging speed is good, and this charger consistently charges 18650 bats to 4.2V DC.Although I did not test this particular Wissblue charger to see if it would revive an almost completely dead bat (my other Wissblue will not) because I don't have any dead ones right now, I saw in the description that it is supposed to.One addition I would like to see is a USB output transforming this charger into a power bank. That would be handy.Recommended.
