I didn’t know how much joy a bird feeder could bring until we got the birdsnap® TUC Smart Bird Feeder with a camera. It’s seriously one of the best little additions to our home! I originally bought it as a fun way to watch birds with my kids, but now I find myself checking the live feed more than I check my texts. The camera quality is super clear—day or night—and the app makes it easy to watch or take pictures and videos of all the birds that stop by. We’ve spotted cardinals, blue jays, even a woodpecker! It’s been such a fun, peaceful way to connect with nature right from our back porch. Setup was simple, and it holds up well even in rain and wind. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the battery life has been solid. I also love that it sends notifications when there’s activity—my daughter runs to my phone every time it goes off! If you’re a bird lover, have curious kids, or just want to bring a little more calm and beauty into your day, this smart bird feeder is totally worth it.

Very sturdy. Easy to assemble with various ways to hang it. Love watch the birds and even the squirrels sometimes. Highly recommended!

Have had it set up for a week now. Works great! Have had many lovely birds. Solar battery works well. Quickly charges inside if there's been no sun. Easy to install.

This is my 6 month review of the BirdSnap. Things I like: 1. The video quality 2. Ease of use 3. Watching the birds 4. Using it as a rear patio camera Things I don't like: 1. Cleaning it. This is a BIG one. It isn't easy to clean and the instructions are terrible. A cloth does not work to clean off all of the bird poop. It takes about 30 minutes. 2. Filling it with food. I had to buy a special scoop 3. The bird identification. Mine stopped working when I didn't donate. Something popped up and I said no to donate. I just purchased the annual subscription, I thought identification was included. I have not taken the time to figure out if I can get it back 4. The annual fee. The only thing it seems to do is to give you extra video storage I don't watch the videos very often. Most of the birds are the same. I am looking forward to Spring when there will be baby birds.

Great video of birds, family is truly enjoying watching the birds and sometimes squirrels and even deer at the feeder.

This was a gift for my mom who loves to watch all the different types of birds that visit her yard. She's shared videos with me and the images are really clear. Such a fun addition to her garden. Awesome gift.

I was so excited to receive this and bought extra items to keep it safe from squirrels and raccoons. I invested a lot of my time and money to have this safe so I could enjoy the beautiful birds. I bought extra bottom steel supports to keep it straight and sturdy as well as a very large expensive animal baffle that would keep the squirrels as well as very large raccoons off of it. The baffle is big and metal and recommended by the wildlife service as well as a large seed catcher which catches the seed that is tossed by different varieties of birds. I have such gorgeous species of birds and enjoy them so much. The catcher is great in order to keep the seed off the ground so it doesn’t attract rodents as well as allowing many birds to enjoy their favorite seed. I added the regular round baffle as well. I’m explaining this because I would like the seller as well as any potential buyers to know I was invested in this bird feeder with the camera so I could enjoy it for many years to come., for my grandkids and myself. Unfortunately this has not been the outcome for me. My feeder did not last 8 months and the camera and solar panel just stopped working, period. I’m so very disappointed in the quality and outcome of this product. In addition I feel I should let others know the AI and the bird identifier does not correctly identify the birds. It even misidentifies Redbirds and blue jays as well as finches and woodpeckers among others. The few birds I listed are well known species and that is so disappointing as well. I immediately cancelled the AI service before the introductory time limit had even expired. I had high hopes for this bird camera but it only worked about 4-5 months and now it’s just a regular bird feeder that is not interactive which is the reason I purchased it. I feel I need to let any potential buyers know what they would be getting into. in my opinion you should keep looking. I would hate for you to be disappointed as I was. Please look elsewhere because you will probably only get a few months use out of it. I do not usually write negative reviews but this is a truthful review. I hope this reaches the seller and that he will make it right buy sending me a new bird snap or the credit for what I purchased so I can purchase a different brand. The seller really has to do so much better and the quality service needs a thorough inspections to protect the future clients. Thank you.

Product is awesome but had a piece broken it was an open box deal but we made it work by fixing the broken piece worth it I love it

The feeder was straightforward to connect to the app. It is neat to watch birds land and eat

My husband is so difficult to buy for so I splurged on this and it works nicely. Takes a short clip of each guest that visits and extras in the app. It will also catch any other guest that visits and comes into view so doubles as a security cam if you want. I think the quality is good.

Its been a lot of fun despite a few issues over the past two months. The pictures/videos you get unless you select 2K just aren't that great, not bad but not great. Select 2K though and the medioa is very nice indeed. The other issue is that to get real nice video often you need to open the app and in a sub menu turn on the camera light. But if the light is perfect you can get decent videos without doing so. The camera did once run out of solar power after a few days of dreary weather and required manually reseting the camera to get it to work again. Its supposed to do it automatically but didn't. It wouldn't even recharge untilI used a portable battery back to jump start it and then I could reset it. My final issue is with the having to fill the feeder so often. When the birds are active I have to fill the feeder about evcery 2 hours! Its mainly due to too much food getting down onto the serving tray and the birds get in there and push it off the feeder onto the ground. I'll try and close the opening a bit with something and see if that helps. The food gets eaten but so much food on the ground is going to attract unwanted pests. We do subscribe to the bird indentiying service and its very fun as it will text you when a bird arrived and let you know what kind of bird it was. It's usually correct but it does often say there is a person in the viseo when there never is. And it has identifed red squirrels as birds a few times. But so far its a fun little app and shows how many of each birds have shown up, sort of like bird watching for the lazy. lol. All in all we're very happy with the unit.

We have had the Birdsnap feeder for approximately a year and ran into an issue. Customer service responded with a few possible solutuin. Unfortunately none worked and they replaced with no issues. Old time Customer service, how refreshing. Would recommend because they back their product.
