So happy I bought these! I’m an avid cyclist and I’ve used many headphones over the years. Cycling presents a couple of unique challenges for headphones: Wind Noise - always pretty deafening, which means to listen to anything (mostly audiobooks or podcasts for me), you have to crank the volume up to be able to hear over the wind noise Secure fit - I usually have to push them in further many times during a ride because ear buds tend to work themselves out as you ride - both for fear of them falling out but alway for the wind noise - it gets worse when not fully inserted Durability - Cycling is surprisingly rough on ear buds- they don’t last very long. Probably because of the sweat, the temperature swings (I ride through the winter) and the rain We’ll see how they do for durability, but they claim they are the toughest buds on the market. As for wind noise and fit, they are fantastic. They somehow stay firmly in place in my ears like no others that I’ve tried - without using any sort of earhooks. They just don’t move at all - which is great. Not once have i ever felt the need to push them in further during a ride. For wind noise, it is such a joy to have that substantially attenuated. Much better than the AirPod Pro’s (gone through 2 pairs) and the Soundcore Liberty 4’s I was using - all of which have failed in less than a year. I also have a pair of Sony WF-1000XM5’s, which are downright spooky in their ability to block out wind noise, but those are definitely not suited for cycling. It’s so nice to not have to crank up the volume to listen what I want to listen to! These are also the only earbuds I’ve ridden with where i could adjust the volume while riding. I love the feel of the buttons - they click, which I like more than the more common capacitive touch buttons on most others. Best app I’ve seen yet for any of my headphones. Sound quality is good, but definitely not in the same league as my Sony WF-1000XM5’s, but for cycling headphones I don’t care about that. Off the bike, I have a secondary use for these - to block out my wife’s snoring at night. They excel at that job as well - the noise cancelling is very powerful - not too far short of my Sony’s, but easily enough to block out the snoring. But the fit is a surprising benefit here as well as on the bike - i don’t have to worry at all about them falling out while im sleeping, which is not the case with any of my other earbuds. They are also supremely comfortable - i can barely even tell that I’m wearing them - which is a big deal if you intend to sleep with them. Lastly, battery life is excellent. With noise cancelling on, they easily make it through the night (which my AirPod Pro’s could not do). We’ll see how they hold up for durability, but if Jabra’s claims are true about these being the toughest earbuds around, they should hold up. Incredibly happy with these - HIGHLY recommended, and for cyclists, the best you can buy!

As background, I primarily use earbuds for exercising (weightlifting, cycling, circuit training, etc) so the most important thing to me is that they stay in my ears no matter how drenched in sweat I get. I’ve used many different earbuds over the years and these are by far my favorite and have well surpassed my expectations. Fit: The coating on the earbuds makes them feel glued into place even when sweaty, fit is snug but very comfortable, have had zero issues with these right out of the box. Battery life: These things just won’t die. Have been using daily (2 hours on average) for about two weeks on one full charge and the case is still at 50% (using ANC the entire time). I haven’t had to use yet but the quick charge feature is a fantastic addition. Sound quality: I won’t claim to be an audiophile but I do love music and IMO these have great range for what they are and far surpass my ancient galaxy buds and much newer airpod pros. ANC completely eliminates all distracting gym noises (inconsiderate people talking on their phones, group fitness instructors yelling and playing crappy music, etc), and the pass thru mode works great as well if you’re working out with a partner or need to hear your surroundings (e.g., cycling). The app has a nice equalizer function that lets you set custom presets, in addition to the standard ones that come preloaded. Other notable features: Very long range - bluetooth connectivity does not drop even when all the way across a crowded gym from my phone. Case is nice and compact and works with wireless charging. The app allows you to highly customize the controls on each earbud and has the option to use just one earbud at a time which is nice to have if you plan to use for calls. Note that I don’t use earbuds much for calls so can’t really comment on call quality. Bottom line, if you’re looking for comfortable earbuds that won’t fall out, will last you weeks between charges, have all the latest techy features and sound great…you will love these.

These are by far and away the best earbuds I've ever owned. #1 They fit flush in the ears and I can sleep on them (for flights) #2 The battery life is enough for most trips, and they charge reliably in the carrying case (not all do) #3 Passthrough sound isn't marvelous, but it works #4 Noise cancelling isn't the world's greatest, but it does well #5 Connection is rock solid. I never have a distance issue. They work further than my Bose headset, which is great. Sometimes, only one earbud will connect (you can use one at a time if you want, which is also nice) but simply replacing both in the case, and then pulling them back out again guarantees both will connect, every time (second time, every time ;) #6 The carrying case is USB C. They should all be by now, but some cheaper models still aren't. #7 The microphone is outstanding. Small background sounds aren't heard by parties on the other end of the line, neither are mild chewing sounds from the wearer. In short, they are the best web meeting headset I've ever used, and they're earbuds. #8 They can handle multiple connections and seamlessly switch. They do a very good job at this as well. #9 You can run with them in and they don't fall out. I can shake my head violently and they manage to stay in. I would have to really work to shake them out. Fantastic. They don't score a 10 from me for music, as the tones are not deep and rich, but for calls, web meetings and exercising, they are 'perfect' for me.

Very impressed with these so far. I used to buy cheaper ones on amazon sold by the disposable brand names. Then stepped it up to Skullcandy. I love my Crusher Evo over hear headphones, so I got into their ear buds. So far I own 4 different models of Skullcandy buds, some are OK, but not great. Mind you they are much cheaper than the Jabra's. For the last couple of months I have been working out and getting into shape. Listening to music and drowning everything else out helps me power through it. The Skullcandy's were constantly falling out. I could only wear them when on the bike, even then as I sweat they would constantly slide out, and the wings would slip off the buds, it was a pain. If I used rubbing alcohol to clean them, and wipe my ears, they had a temporary chance of staying put. I purchased these with the primary purpose of having something stay put while working out. Over ear headphones are too clumsy and make me too warm. So far these have far exceeded expectations. They are the most comfortable buds I have ever worn. They did not even hint at the possibility of sliding out during the 2 hours I spent doing push ups, planks, sit ups, dumb-bells, treadmill and the bike. No ear fatigue, they did not move during any activity, did not require readjustment. Even if I opened/closed my mouth or clenched my jaw. They just do what they are supposed to do. I am also finding the sound quality is quite good, not as much bass as over hear headphones, but for what these are, they are amazing. With other buds they had to be positioned ever so perfectly, else one would sound off (no bass), one would not seal well, or a seal would break if I moved my jaw. They tended to sound better if I was clenching my teeth, etc. These Jabra's slide in, and there is no messing around trying to find a position in my ears where they sound good, and it seems like nothing I do can change that. Super happy, money well spent. Also, the description does not clearly indicate it (or at all that I saw) but the case can be charged wirelessly. The software is great. With Skullcandy's its like typing morse code to get them to do what you want. These can be changed to suite yours needs, and its kept simple, and it even conveniently displays the case power level along with each ear bud, very nice touch! Other features like pausing music when you pull out a single bud is quite nice. The ANC is nothing like I have ever heard before on an ear bud, only on $350 Sony over ear headphones, and miles ahead of the Skullcandy. The Skullcandy was barely a reduction in noise at all in comparison to these. This is one of those times where you get what you pay for. I know I brought up Skullcandy a lot, I figure it may be a good reference for what to expect. These cost about twice as much as even the high end Skullcandy, but I feel like you get many times more for what you pay, while not breaking the bank.

Left ear bud broke pretty quick after getting them. Still plays but has some connectivity issues. It will cut from being very quite to normal volume. I need to flick it very hard to make it work again and it has a rattling sound when I walk with it. The right ear bud works fine.

This is my first pair of Bluetooth earbuds, and I'm flabbergasted by the technology. I can't believe that in such a tiny package, there's enough room to fit all the components. My mind is kinda blown. Think about it. One earbud contains audio drivers, multiple mics, a battery, and an SoC with Bluetooth and a DAC. It's insane that so much stuff can fit in there. The sound is great, and the feature set is excellent as well. ANC works great. The behavior of the buds is programmable in the app, which is really clear and easy to use. The sound can also be adjusted from the app. The HearThrough function works surprisingly well, too. Battery life is great. The buds are physically comfortable, and feel secure in my ears. Overall a great pair of wireless earbuds, and I'm surprised by how nice and well put together the features are.

Pretty good, but missing features of older versions and there is room for improvement. What happened to 'My Sound'!? Older Jabra earbuds would run a hearing test on you, then adapt the output of each earbud to accommodate the hearing deficiencies of each ear. It might sound gimmicky, but the Jabra hearing test showed me I had small hearing problems and the sound was much better after having run the test. Old versions had a strong magnet that helped in 2 ways. 1) The earbuds stuck tightly into the case, ensuring the charging contacts were touching. The Elite Active 8s have a much weaker magnet and it's more common for the charging contacts not to connect. 2) The earbuds would stick together. This was convenient. The in-ear sensor that turns music off when earbuds are removed is a light sensor. This means that if you pull out an earbud and hold it in your hand or pocket such that the sensor is blocked, what you were listening to starts playing again. The 75t and 85t had different problems: their sensors seem to work on proximity to one another and what you were listening to would resume if the buds were placed near one another. Either earbud can be used alone. Older models could only use the right earbud alone. The noise cancellation blocks out a lot. When enabled, the bass sounds a little muddy, though. On the Elite Active 8, the amount of ANC is set for you, adapting to your surroundings. Occasionally, I wish I could change the amount of ANC (you can on the 75t and 85t). ANC on the Elite Active 8s is better ANC on the 75t or 85t. They stay put when I run. The 75t also stayed put, but the 85t would get loose and even fall out. There is little wind noise. There is less wind noise if you turn off ANC. The 85t was terrible for wind noise, (even with ANC off) and the 75t only had wind noise with ANC on. Dolby Spatial Sound is like being in an echoey bathroom. It's terrible. I'm getting nit-picky now, but a smaller case would be nice. I want to carry these everywhere and I already have too much in my pockets. I'd happily trade some battery life for case size (... but knowing the density of batteries it's hard to believe the case needs to be as big as it is). I don't have the Elite 10s, but there is a relevant parallel with the 75t and 85t. The 75t are 'closed' and the 85t are 'open'. With an open design, the drivers are exposed to the outside world. Because of this, the 85t were useless for any situation with a little wind (like walking or sitting in a light breeze). There was *a lot* of wind noise. The Elite 8 are closed and the Elite 10 are semi-open. I'm concerned the Elite 10 will have the same problem with wind. There is a trade-off here because open design sounds better. I used the 75t for anything active or outdoors, and the 85t for calls (video calls for work ~6hrs/day). Both were great when used in situations that played to their strengths, but I don't want to buy the Elite 10s *and* the Elite Active 8s.
