SmittyBilt WINCH PLATE YJ/TJ/LJ FLAT - SB2803

I added this to my Smittybilt Gen1 SRC front bumper that's on my 04 TJ. The plate itself is a snap to install, with a impact wrench. I used four bolts that were already in the bumper and only two from the new hardware sent in the rear most bolt hole. I followed others and installed the winch on the plate before mounting it. This was very easy as a one man job. The plate is heavy duty and paired well with my bumper and the Smittybilt X2O 10k winch, obviously.Added a Factor 55 Flatlink E and I think it looks great. Also added a cover to the winch to keep it out of the elements. The mount has had no issues and still looks new.

Heavy duty and installed very easy, bought a X20 winch at the same time. Lucky it's easy to install because I ended up taking it back off and bolted the winch on to the plate before putting it back on so do that first. It may be just the number I have is why I had to go that route. But other than that, perfect fit. Love it.

Perfect fit and well made

I put this plate on a 97 jeep Wrangler, it fit well. I mounted a Superwinch TS9500 on it.The plate and winch went on with minimal problems, It all fit well. The only thing that was a real problem was the stock plastic plate ,without the plate there was a large area open behind the mounted winch and plate. I cut the stock plastic plate and fit it behind the winch and plate,it looks great. I am pleased and would recommend it to a friend.

I’m using this with a “non winchable” bumper. Works great and lets me keep the bumper I like while still using a winch. It’s held up very well to a 12,000 lb winch

I wanted to retain my stock bumper with the tow bar connections and used this plate to mount a SB winch to stock bumper of my 2003 TJ. Super easy install. I mounted the winch to the plate prior to setting the plate on the bumper which meant no laying on the ground to tighten bolts. Perfect for the application.

For a basic mounting plate for your winch its fine. But as others have stated it is gloss balck not a match for the Smittybuilt bumper. And as others have stated it was missing install bolts in both boxes, after talking to the manufacturers and waiting 3 weeks for hardware that never came, I just bought some grade 8 bolts local. With that lack of coustomer service I bought another brand of winch.

Arrived quickly, fit perfectly on my Jeep. Very strong metal plate to hold my winch. Looks great, easy to install too.
