Very efficient razor. I can feel the blade while shaving. I have medium to coarse beards and this razor shave very close.

I bought this having read online that it is somewhat similar to a Gillette Tech, my preferred razor of choice, but becoming quite expensive to buy with increased postage costs. It's a well made, razor, somewhat lighter than expected, but looks impressive. In shaving terms, I have used maybe 5 times now with an Astra blade, and it gives a very good close shave. I would say it is slightly more aggressive than the Tech, but still on mild side of most razors. The shave angle is a little different too, but is very forgiving whilst learning what is best and gives a consistently close shave. This razor represents excellent value and I would recommend to both new DE shavers and those looking to expand their collection.

It's ok, screw fitting is loose but works and is a little hard to clean. Safety bar on one side has cracked when I dropped it so my fault entirely but would've thought it would be more durable.

Razor blades stick out the edges too unlike my other single blade razor, this leaves sharp sides making it hard to change the blades and simply handle the razor.

I don't know why I've always been a little squeamish about using a safety razor and changing the blades, but in an effort to cut down on plastic I made the leap. I wasn't disappointed: super ergonomic, with a good bit of heft without being too heavy, well made and easy to (carefully) change the blades. The shave quality is excellent, super smooth with no dragging or nicking, the razor holds the blade at a very safe angle. Much smoother than a plastic multi blade and much easier to clean and rinse out beard whiskers. Really delighted! Wish I'd done this sooner!
