Fitted the old clock perfectly and saved a lot of money not replacing the original clock which was expensive. I have a radio controlled alarm clock so I know they work in my house. This one slowly went around the dial slowly at least twice during the day, I put it by a window and left it over night, in the morning it was on the correct time and has worked perfectly ever since. Frustrating that it didn't work straight away but this is fairly described and I have a good product. Recommended.

It can be a bit tricky to set up because there are no instructions. Once you do the obvious of threading the bolt through the clock face and screwing it on, put the batteries in BEFORE PUTTING THE CLOCK HANDS ON. The mechanism cycles through 12 or 24hrs (can't remember) and once it stops for a while and searches for signal, only then put on all the clock hands in the 12 o'clock position without twisting the mechanism. If you twist the mechanism while putting it on, you will need to start again because the clock will correct for the twist and show the wrong time.

Very useful replacement to an old clock with a basic module that I had, turned it into an MSF clock in minutes.Be careful of the depth of the threaded part, though, it may be too deep for some projects - measure first! And don't be an idiot like me and forget to remove the pin on the back and then wonder why it didn't move...

Works well and is very accurate once it [eventually] gets a signal and adjusts itself... but I bought this to replace the basic quartz drive mechanism in a wall clock with reasonably weighty hands and this doesn't appear to have enough torque to move them once they get to the 6, 7, 8, 9 zone. Used with the hands supplied, it's perfect.
