The espresso machine we have is a bit noisy, this helps suppress some of the sound. The whole thing is washable so it helps keep the worktop clean, it absorbs any spills and most things just wipe off. Looks nice

If you're anything like me and everytime I make a coffee it looks like I just throw the coffee and milk up in there air and hope it lands in the cup then this mat will save you alot of time cleaning up. It's easy to wipe down after making a mess and its great at absorbing a small spillage before it runs off the counter top. I would definitely recommend.
