Kosovo: The Bradt Travel Guide Paperback – January 25, 2011

This is a great travel guide/book on Kosovo. Definitely recommend it even if you are not planning on going there.

This is a must have book for anyone traveling to or living in Kosovo. It has been a great resource. It does contain more than a spattering of "wry" (and sometimes overtly negative) comments that expats tend to like to throw in when evaluating their place of overseas residence. Your experience will be enhanced if you ignore these comments and look at Kosovo with a positive eye and respect for the progress that has been made.

Good travel guide. I am currently in Kosovo and he guide is quite current.Kosovo is a beautiful country and quite inexpensive to visit. The people are gracious and most love Americans. Many speak English quite well.

Good information on places to see

this was up-to.date information for our travel to Kosovo

Although the book is 4 years old it is still current (Oct21) with maps and recommendations relevant to today’s traveller. I went to Prishtina for a weekend so didn’t use the whole book, but reviews were useful and accurate and maps detailed for planning a couple of days sightseeing.

Forse l'unica guida "completa" per quanto rigurda il Kosovo. Completamente dedicata a questa "nuova" nazione. Esauriente ed esaustiva! Certo, bisogna sapere l'inglese, perchè è scritta in Inglese. Ma contiene tutto ciò che si vuole sapere per un viaggio là.

Viel Reiseliteratur gibt es nicht über den Kosovo, leider. Dieser ist in englischer Sprache gehalten. Er enthält sehr viel Information, und wenige Bilder, was mir persönlich nichts macht. Und dass er in die Jahre gekommen und teilweise nicht mehr aktuell ist, liegt daran, dass sich im Kosovo alles sehr schnell verändert, da müsste man ihn jedes Jahr aktualisieren. Mir hat er den Einstieg sehr erleichtert. Eine Neuauflage in nächster Zukunft wäre trotzdem sehr wünschenswert.

Although I was travelling to Kosovo on an organised trip with a group of friends and acquaintances it always helps to have a guidebook and this met the bill well.
