Frays, but works well
This elastic does fray so I would recommend burning the end before you put on the beads. The color, which actually seems more gray than white, does not show through.

Good and stretchy
This string is stretchy and holds up well compared to the string I received with a bracelet kit. It does fray at the ends but I am not certain if there are any that wouldn't have that problem.

Good Bracelet String
Exactly as advertised. Good stretch and tension for bracelet-making. The ends fray quickly when cut, so have a plan for that when you get started.

Easy to work with, not stiff
Worked with this for a bit yesterday, it's stiff enough to thread easily, thick enough to hold larger beads snuggly, and has good stretch. It doesn't have some of the brittle stiffness in some of the cheaper elastic. Good midline product.

It is what it is. Works fine.
I got this for a child to string beads and make jewelry. This should work nicely. It's your basic elastic cord. Should hold up long enough for kids to lose their stuff or get bored with it.

Three strand wound elastic string. Small and strong. For crafting and projects.
Multi purpose and strong elastic string. This is traditional string wound stranded elastic and not stretchable plastic. Very versatile usage possibilities, including jewelry. Make sure that this 1mm size can fit thru your beads and findings. Stiff enough to push thru small openings without the use of a needle or guide, as long as it fits thru the holes. Feels well made and durable, although there is no way I can honestly rate the longevity of it.(Note: I found this listed in the musical instrument department... Why? I would not recommend this to be used as "real" instrument strings, as it is sure to cut into your fingers if stretched out on a fretboard.)

Useful for soooo many friendship bracelets
We were fortunate enough to be able to go to a couple of concerts for one of this year's biggest tours (and probably one of the biggest ever, really). Because it was apparently a thing for concert-goers, we absolutely had to make hundreds (no exaggeration) of friendship bracelets, which meant we ended up getting several bracelet-making kits.Being fairly new to this, we soon realized that the kits with the elastic strings were better than the ones without...mostly because they were forgiving in terms of different wrist sizes the bracelets could be worn on and we didn't have to add clasps, which saves so much time when you're making hundreds of bracelets. We were so happy we found this product to go with the kits that didn't have the elastic strings. This 1mm string is great for the friendship bracelets we made. It is made of good quality and didn't fray easily when it's cut. It's lightweight yet strong to hold even heavy glass beads, and it has good elasticity. The only thing I want to point out when you're buying elastic string to use with a separate bracelet-making kit is to make sure the beads from the kit can fit the 1mm diameter opening. This was not an issue for us, but it can be depending on the kit(s) you have.

Very strong for making bracelets
I make a lot of jewelry, as I'm trying to start a small business. I was looking for some stronger elastic string for durability. This fit the bill! I'm no longer worried that my bracelets are going to snap on me or my customers. Stretch bracelets are all the rage now in jewelry making. I'm glad that I was able to find something that I could use that I can trust. I highly recommend this. You won't be disappointed.
