Victorian traditional ceramic & chrome flush pull for high level cistern

Fabulous! Long enough so you can remove some of the chain to fit your needs. The main hook needs a strong pair of pliers to open it before installation. Chain seems strong enough for now. Looks smart, does the job!

Lovely styling. Definitely an improvement over the look of previous modern pulls I've had. I like how it gives the toilet an extra Victorian look. The reason I gave it four stars is because it's very heavy; so heavy in fact that the handle that extends from the tank and that the chain attaches to, dropped from about a 45 degree angle to a 90 degree angle (using a clock example, from roughly between a 1 o'clock and 2 o'clock position down to a 3 o'clock position). The lower position of the handle meant that there wasn't enough leverage or travelling distance when pulling the chain, which meant that the toilet would no longer flush. However, because I like the style of the pull, I attached a small heavy weight to the part of the handle that sits inside the tank just above the water line. The handle now returns to a 45 degree angle and the toilet flushes normally like before. In this scenario, going to these lengths won't be for everyone, but I'm glad I can make use of the pull now.

Good solid well made product that looks the part at a good price

Very easy to clip onto the top of the cistern. Looked good even better than the old Victorian-style one that was there before but that had a dull brass chain so the chrome looked impressive. Good value, delivered promptly, well wrapped. Very happy

A good heavy ceramic handle, that feels high quality. We have used it on our old fashioned loo, where the water tank is high up with a chain coming down. The handle really suits the loo and looks great in place. The handle came with the rings that made it easy to fit to our existing lever at the top of the loo. I would buy again

A link in the chain snapped within a week of fitting this. The ceramic handle is very nicely made, looks appropriately old fashioned, it is just a shame that the chain isn't stronger. The individual links seem to be soldered closed and it looks like it should do the job, so maybe I was unlucky with the proverbial weak link. I've repaired it and it will be interesting to see if the remaining links hold up.
